There's a theory that due to the fruits power being light, kizarus thought process was enhanced as well to adapt to that speed so everything seems really slower than a snail to him meaning he tries really hard to understand what people are saying and at the same time talks really slowly so other people can understand him that's why we see kizarus talks wierdly by doing it slowly.

If devil fruits were real, this fruit is the one I've always thought I would want. It's just flat out cool being able to shoot lasers and make a light sword while also being super useful being able to travel extremely fast and light up dark surroundings. Being able to casually shrug off gunshots and dismemberment is amazing for peace of mind too.

Yeah the only down side is if you hit anything in somewhat solid form you destroy the planet and you could never hug anyone or make a baby due to haki not being a thing so legitimately nothing and no one can touch you this Is why I think a paramecia or mythical zoan would be cool mainly kaidos dragon fruit just imagine how fucking cool it would be to lift islands with your clouds have an impenetrable scaled and blast beams of light hotter then the sun you can also fly at pretty fast speeds but the coolest part is turning into a FUCKING DRAGON

He’s gotta be at least 40-50 now so I imagine he’s had the fruit around twenty years, if not more.. for context, even if kizaru perceived time at a little under under 1/500th the speed of light, he’d still be seeing each passing second as at least 277 hours (perception speed enhanced to roughly one million times that of human perception speed) So I’m not sure this could be accurate in any way - light speed is that fast. If he were perceiving the world at light speed I’m not even sure ordinary people would register on his radar. Actually it seems pretty unlikely anyone would

Nah. That's only a theory and the most plausible thing which makes him talk and act slow is because he's a procrastinator. This is hinted due to his philosophy of Unsure Justice. I mean, when he had gone to Saboady Island, he literally just happened to kick the worst generation to the curb because they were just there. He actually was looking for someone else and just decided, why not destroy the worst generation too?._. He wasn't even attacking until the worst generation decided it'll be cool to destroy Kizaru.

And Blackbeard might be able to cancel out kizaru’s fruit but he’s not a literal blackhole, he’s darkness which is more of a construct than an actual thing so it’s properties are questionable.

My personal pick for irl would be the Memo Memo no Mi or Pudding. Being able to edit people's memories is so damn useful in a real life setting it's surreal, if I ever say something cringe, I can just ...... make them forget it and think I made a super clever joke instead. Plus the potential for tomfoolery is immense And I did this without ever bringing all the dark stuff you could do with it, neat (if any of you watched the Lost Agent arc for Bleach, you know what I mean)

If I were to choice a logia-type devil fruit I would definitely choice light, you are basically invincible cause your logia, you can attack at the speed of light which is very op for real life cause you can’t react to it, you also can move at the speed of light which is very good for traveling and running, and you can make weapons out of light so you are basically immortal.

I’m pretty sure kizaru can only move at the speed of light in one straight direction though like light does. For example when he went after apoo he had to calculate how to reach him by reflecting off of surfaces.

@Trashman Kev no its the fruit... I would assume the navy are not allowed to entake drugs while on duty. It's never stated outside of one arc where there are drugs. (( made kids into giants and they were addicted to it. )) I know there is alcohol but not anything like weed.

I feel like even though it allows you to travel at light speed it doesn't grant you abilities of seeing in slow motion such as the flash, it is more of a near instantaneous teleportation

I think there is REALLY huge draw back to this fruit, I seems that he can only move light in a straight direction so he can't curve while flying, the only time he changed directions was by bouncing off the walls of houses (this is just a theory that I got from someone else, there is also probable proof here, that one time kizaru was cut in half, he regenerated with each light particle going straight towards him and re forming him back PAINFULY slowly.)

The one draw back you over looked is he trajectory is where he as a beam of light will go. He has to travel in a straight line ( that's why he uses mirrors to fight and travel). I also think he has to follow the laws that light follow.

Ive read Ordeal And there is a ranking system + different types of abilities. Top 7 of this universe had basically jacked jacked fruit combined with enels fruit. Resembling more closely to thor from Ragnarokk. It had its own sauce to aswell, this said " jacked " could fight on its on or could be used to deffend other people not just his owner.

I remember when I was watching the show, and I thought that Enel and kizaru were so cool but now hockey is just a normal thing in one piece

Technically, Kizaru can easily arrest pirates anywhere at any time because of his powers, but it surprises me that he only appears once in a while.

i think the downside of the fruit is the fact that light travels in a linear line… it doesn’t curve and bend (unless going through a different medium) so ultimately while sure he’d be super fast… it would only be in one direction at a time. To change direction whilst using his ability, he’d have to refract through like glass or water, or something of a similar fashion

Kizaru is easily one of the strongest fruits on a base level. Even a basic understanding of its use would make you basically a god of light. Light speed, intangible, and some of the most insane raw power in the series. This is one of the fruits I would love to eat
