Console Operating Systems As Fast As Possible! (More especifically Xbox and PlayStation considering how older consoles are easily emulated and other consoles such as the Wii present LESS of a challange when trying to run its games on PC) -What makes it so difficult to install these Operating Systems on a PC? (Something similar to a Hackintosh but Hackbox or EmulStation) -How exactly is the OS optimized for its Hardware? -Why can´t other Operating Systems emulate console games much like how Mac can run Windows exclusive tittles through third party applications? -Can you install another Operating System on a console? -5th Step??? -Profit (These videos are not necessarily "Fast" so maybe going deeper into things like Game Engines and OS architecture might be a nice touch)

LIKE SO LTT SEES THIS!!!! I feel like this is a very promising topic and would explain a lot about why "Console Killers" are not really killing consoles. (A Console Killer is a computer built with roughly the same budget in mind as what you would spend on a console which performs comparably worse, Console Killers have so far not been made running an actual console Operating System)

What do you think of this topic? Do you feel like it is worth installing console Operating Systems on PCs or should the PC Master Race not get its hands dirty with such filth? I speak ironically of course, consoles definitely have their charm. I would recommend watching Techquickes video on consoles vs. PCs, it might give some more insight.

raspberry pi was intended as a next step of the Arduino system; You may run Linux instead of pure c-code or ASM-code without a OS (aside from a bootloader). Nobody ever see the use as linux home server and the first prototype versions of Raspi had still the ATMEGA644 chip. As you use linux, you don't care about driver's as you may use the API in Linux.

Raspberry Pi was intended as a low cost SoC that would hookup to your old analog TV set by composite jack ( remember the old RCA to 300ohm slide switch connectors dangling off the back of your TV to play your Atari?)to teach kids about computers, and how to code, just as Linus said. Microprocessor(Pi) vs. microcontroller (Arduino). A microprocessor can be a microcontroller, but a microcontroller can't be a microprocessor. It was not intended as a "next step" of anything. Yeah, I'm old, and I'm cranky... now... GET OFFA MY LAWN! ;-P

So much so,I think I might just go and buy one and have some fun with getting to know how to use it and what it can do. Thanks again for your easy way of explaining a product and for once, the viewer actually knows and understands what your talking about! Keep up your good work bro! Peace out!!!

I recently and have in the past looked into this matter on the net and found answers but they are often incomplete in explanation. There are even more convoluted answers with going to and from multiple drives (ie: can I clone a larger drive or drive partition to a smaller ssd or vice versa). I think it would great subject for Tech quickie.

Raspery Pi is quite popular at teaching and amateur logistic controls. We have school project radio telescope with 2m parabolic antenna that uses raspberry pi as positioning, orienting, tracking and acts as a platform between telescope hardware and computer. actual analysis is done by desktop computer however, as raspberry pi dont really cut in when you need to read ~3'000'000'000 measurements per second (hydrogen radioemission at 1,4Ghz)

There's one called a UDOO board which is a raspberry pi competitor. It uses an Intel atom processor and can run full windows 10. And yes, it's $100. But there's also a cheaper x86-like board by Intel themselves. It's called the Intel Edison, but it's actually just the processor itself. You have to buy the breakout/prototyping board yourself in order to use it. It's also much weaker than the raspberry pi.
