Me too I’m from Alaska and I use to go out on my boat and watch whales for hours they’d come right up to the boat one of the best life experiences ever..

Don't like what I'm saying? Then thank you for volunteering to go spend the rest of you life in a tiny room, performing tricks for disgusting food and being bored out of you skull the rest of the time. Oh, and good luck trying to escape when your fellow inmates keep beating you up out of sheer frustration.

@@Tarathathe77wookiee hey "save the world" the lady asked she'd love to see these in person. You can go to loads of parks to see them. I've spent an absolute fortune paying at the gates of these parks and seeing them. It's incredible and I hope it carrys on

@@Tarathathe77wookiee I've watched all the documentarys Blackfish, Long Gone wild etc, and all it made me want is to jump on a plane and go back to seaworld or loro parque. These animals are born to perform. Get ya head out the sand ya muppet

The pod is probably more comfortable moving around, with less boat traffic to deal with.

Like the dolphins swimming around the Venice canals and lagoon during Covid. Amazing how quickly Nature bounced back for that short while!

Killing and capturing cetaceans in banned in most of the world. T'luk and his family are federally protected so he is safe.

Certain animals like the albino killer whale have certain protection they are most likely tagged which makes them illegal to be hunted and tags are tracked so if it is killed or taken they can find the person and punish them

Come on what year do you think it is ? 😂 who hunts whales these days ? What we can do since it’s rare, we can follow it ,capture it and just to put it an aquarium . If it dies we can just build a spot for him in a museum:)

Fun fact: Did you know that Orca’s are actually dolphins? From what I can remember a group of men on a boat saw black and white dolphins (orcas) killing whales so they called them Whale Killers and at some point we switched the words around and now we call them Killer Whales

That isn't him. He is a 2 year old named something like Tanuk it means bright moon. But this up in Pudget Sound and Iceberg I believe stays in like Russian waters. (Sorry I know my spelling may be off I'm really tired).

Iceberg is an adult male who was first spotted in 2012. The Orca Network expert shown in the video identifies this orca as a juvenile male born in 2018.

Iceberg is a Russian transient and T'luk is a PNW transient. They are different unrelated whales.

Frosty is gorgeous.❤ People have to be careful about standing so close to orcas. They can snatch you up and drag you to the bottom and you will drown. To them its just playing. You really have to be careful.

T'luk is a male.

It looks like 2 are white. When the camera/drone is focused on the large one there’s a smaller white whale off to the right. I wish they were both covered.

Tl'uk is the only white/gray killer whale in this pod. The other 'white' one you saw was simply an adult whale swimming with its side more towards the surface. .

Hes already been named T'luk which means 'Moon" in the coastal salish language. Hes from the transient family of killer whales known as T46B.
