I thought the plan was to bulldoze this outdated mall and build a higher density urban village with retail at ground level and housing on upper floors. This seems like they’re just doing more outdated suburban mall expansion without addressing the things that make the Tacoma Mall feel so outdated. If only the mall were never built, downtown Tacoma would get retail and love instead of the mall sucking the life out of downtown.

The mall is outdated as hell and feels like it’s straight out of the 60’s. They need to fix their small outdated parking spaces, which are too tiny for modern SUVs. Can’t park your car there without people slamming their doors into your car and dinging it.

It's so weird .. that the more gun control they 'claim' to be making headway on .. the more guns seem to end up in the hands of criminals in criminal activities. Maybe and this might just be a CrAzY iDeA .. .. We should have no-bail policies and stricter sentencing for violent/armed crimes. Just saying. Didn't have a problem until Olympia suddenly made it 'okay' to be a criminal or junkie .. now we have armed crimes and tweakers everywhere. Clearly, what they're doing isn't working.

When I stationed at McChord my wife and I watched the Sonic once. I always thought it was cool how it was built in the ground. Glad they have a new arena for hockey which is only a matter of time the city gets their team back.

My boyfriend lost his wallet in Orlando florida. Laid it on the news paper stand outside a store. Almost a year went by and i noticed one day he had a message in his "other" folder on his facebook. When we checked it, it was the store owner writing to say he had my boyfriends wallet and was asking for the address to mail it back. He paid himself to have it mailed back and all the money and cards were still in it and it was literally a couple weeks before christmas. It was a blessing. Good people do still exist.

I cannot imagine why anyone would want to be a police officer in Seattle. $83,000 a year is not enough to deal with the liberal bs they have to deal with; the constant denigration and lack of respect; the lack of prosecutorial follow up when they arrest people (the job is a waste of their time); and the city/citizens apparent desire to make sure they are civilly liable for any mis-step they make. So, this is absolutely no surprise and anyone who takes this job under these circumstances is a glutton for punishment.
