As the holiday season ramps up, Sotheby's auction house in New York is getting ready to auction off some of its highest value luxury items, ranging from multi-million dollar pieces of jewelry to historical artifacts and even a one-of-a-kind dinosaur skull fossil.
The crown jewel of its current collection is knows as the Golden Canary diamond.
At an estimated value of $15 to $20 million, the 303 carat diamond has humble beginnings.
The Golden Canary diamond will be auctioned off among other high-value jewels at Sotheby's on December 7th.
It goes up for auction on December 13th.
