Frank, I love your “ Frank Files “ series. I have been a classically trained jeweler for over 30 years and watching your series has reignited my passion for working with pieces ,some from many of the great jewelery houses you mention. Thank you so much for the enlightenment. Sincerely, Bobby Ferrusi

This is a well done video! Wish it was even longer with a closer look on the pieces. They are so exceptional and I love their background history. The brooches are just stunning
I absolutely love history especially when it is connected to amazing people of substance! As are the fabulous jewels in the two stories of the emerald ring and the increadable love a husband had for his wife in the Cartier story. Ironically those were the two finest gemstones in the collection as well. 💎 Thank you for sharing this wonderful presentation! Love the book case and our host us so knowledgeable as well as quite personable excellent traits to have when presenting such beautiful works of wearble art.
Love your presentation style Frank. You know how valuables has to be treated and there fore, don't waste other people's time.
I want to take this man out for drinks and listen to him talk and talk and talk!!! The carved Jade brooch was gorgeous.
Amazing lots. The coloured stones make my salivary glands kick in.
One of our favorite videos!

Me too! I like the way you think!
I'm not sure where he gets his history of the Star of the East. Evelyn W McLean purchased both the Hope and Star of the East at Cartier while on her honeymoon in 1911. There is a famous portrait of her wearing the Star of the East as the center stone of a diamond bandeau along with the Hope in it's necklace setting. Harry Winston purchased her entire jewelry collection in 1947 which included both diamonds. Winston of course donated the Hope to the Smithsonian. The Star of the East exchanged hands back and forth with Winston several times until sometime 1984 when its path suddenly runs into a big STOP sign. Its current whereabouts are unknown. Amazing that a 94.80 carat Pear shape diamond has not appeared back in the hands of Sotheby's, Christies, or even Harry Winston!
I am curious about that large red coral. What is it?
멋찝니다~~~~
"....what I love about this brooch the most is the back." Which I'm not going to show you.
