I was a super metal head 17 year old when this song came out, but even I could appreciate the silliness and heavy metal influences they used in the song. Plus I'm Canadian too and have to support the boys.

I went to the concert in Brisbane, and had such a good time. The Offspring were great, but Sum41 had an entire vibe and energy that was way better. This was before I got deep into Sum41 too. Before the concert I listened to a couple songs every once in a while to get myself familiar with them, but the concert definitely made me a fan.

Definitely reminds me of all my friends in the skater/punk scene in the late 90s/ early 00s. The fashion, the sound, the general vibe. It's not my favorite song, but no other song/MV makes me think of my group of friends more than this. Massive blast of nostalgia. I wonder what songs 10s kids and 20s kids will feel the same way about.

These fellas are from an hour east of Toronto, Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦 Not far from where I grew up. This song was such a breath of fresh air when it first came out. I was so sick of all the pop punk and 2nd/3rd wave grunge bands. I was just getting into the Beasties and Kid Rock, and this song was a perfect blend of some cool stuff. The shout out to Maiden and Priest clinched it for this old school Canadian metalhead. Saw them live once and they killed it. They played some 80s Metallica in their set. Canadian rap gods Swollen Members opened up. You should check them out too. They had a couple hits worth checking out.

Hey y’all, just wanted to recommend a couple songs from a relatively newer band in the progressive metal/TOOL scene called KOLM. The tracks are Aquarius Initiation (first track off of the album Umbra), the title track Umbra, and another called Entheotheosis. Three great songs from a group that obviously draws a lot of inspiration from TOOL and Dream Theater, especially the former. I’m pretty sure you can find them on Spotify and definitely on Apple Music. Hope you guys enjoy!

Awesome !!! Love the Group !!! Have you ever heard of the Group "Blackfoot" formed in 1969, from Florida There biggest hit that was always played was 'Train, Train '. A bit of Southern Rock, good guitars,. My favorite song is "Fox Chase'. They are all American Indians, if you react to 'Fox Case ever, at the beginning of the song is there grandfather playing and harmonica, before they rcck out. His name is Shorty Medlock.

The haircut at 07:33 is called a "chelsea" and is very popular among the Street punks of the 80's and 90's. The Pop Punk LEGENDS that they are, Sum 41 was heavily influenced by metal, and the discography floats between poppy punk and Heavy Metal.

Loved this trip down memory lane with you guys! Since y'all got me feeling nostalgic, I'm recommending my favorite band of the 90s and 00s: Everclear. They always toed the line between fun and emotional, with a unique ability to capture deep feelings without crashing into emo territory (mostly because emo wasn't a thing at the time). They had a few "meh" albums in the late 2000s but bounced back hard with their 2015 album "Black is the New Black." Recommended songs, starting with my personal favorite and working my way down (with official videos): When it All Goes Wrong Again, AM Radio, You Make Me Feel Like A Whore, Hater, Santa Monica. Songs with no music video: Fire Maple Song, Unemployed Boyfriend, Short Blond Hair, The Man who Broke his Own Heart.

Dave even got the fucked up high note correct where Kirk had yanked his high E off the fretboard during the recording and can't pull that note off live. Sounded like Dave was using a whammy pedal but it was way closer than that pinch harmonic prayer Kirk does live.

@@richyglitched yes I'm 36. I was there too. The one thing you got right is emo, as they are emo in the classic sense of the term meaning "emotional hardcore". Skate punk is The Vandals, Good Riddance, NUFAN, etc.

Please do a video of "Hardy's mockingbird and the Crow". You will not be disappointed I promise you. It starts with country and ends with rock. Love your videos. Keep it up!
