The video director is Ville Lipiläinen, the guy who has directed many Nightwish live concert recordings. I have nothing but admiration for his work on this one.

After 100 listenings I now am at the point where I have to accept, that this one entered my top 3 og Nightwish songs. I know all others and it hurts, but it is what it is - EPIC.

Same here! My absolute favorite song is "The greatest show on earth". But this will come closer and closer! And the video!!! Its next level and they should get a grammy for this wonderful piece of art!

This is the first single from the new Nightwish album called Yesterwynde. The album comes out in September, but they are supposed to release one more single before the album release. Thanks for the awesome reaction guys. I love Nightwish and I can’t wait for the new album.

The updated Floor gave birth to her second child at the age of 42. Recorded this song about 7 weeks later. And was still breast feeding while doing the video shoot! That's what a passionate goodess is doing! I forgot after getting her gallbladder removed and her breast cancer

Because of all that, they recorded her parts in her home studio. A process that Tuomas says took HALF of the planned time. Because again - Goddess. 🤘😉

This song is absolutely beautiful and the video is incredible, such imagery and so imaginative, it definitely takes you on a journey! The research that must have gone into this is just amazing. This reminds me of their other song, 'The Greatest Show on Earth', which was about the creation of the planet and life on earth, evolution etc. Nightwish never disappoint, I just love watching this video and listening to the wonderful song! Nightwish dont dissapoint "did you feel the ghost energy song" I listened to this song many many times by now, and it is one i like to listen to with my headphones or without, its really a good song, when i can do so to me. Some say Floors voice is low in the mix, and i can agree its hard to get all words she sing, but if you look at it soundwise it sounds amazing!! and after a listen or 2, you know most of lyrics, and its no problem at all, its done fully on purpose for the sound experince of it, and Floor being part of the ancestor choir.. cant wait for rest of album!! Yesterwynde is the opening track on new album, i belive its only like a intro, its a little over 2 min long, #2 on album then is a almost 10 min song, thats proberly another epic!! #3 is where i think they bring in a heavy track, and this Perfume of the timeless is #5.. so i think its gonna be a good mix of heavy songs, Epics, and maybe a full balled.. Perfume of the timeless, well its almonst a ghost energy song right, telling all these ancestors is around in a timeless world, being around you still, and yourvthe perfume, also a message that your existens matters!! i feel tuomas also put in a little message that mankind could do better still, Einstein turn to ape.. This is not a song about meeting a boy on the corner and going on a date. It is deep and intended to make you think as well as react to the music. Tuomas has reached the point where he can do anything he wants, and what he wants is to explore human evolution both past and future. I consider him the Olaf Stapeldon of music (look Olaf up). So we get grand music with a dose of science and philosophy.

First of all, I would like to note that I am only concerned with this one title. And even if the whole reaction world tunes in to this song one fantastic after the other, then I don't get tired of what a piece of junk Nightwish has delivered here. The mixing alone is terrible and I don't want to listen any further. I just hope that they can do it live differently. This is just shameful and not worthy of Nightwish.

Please no hate towards me please tribe. I still love watching every episode but I really don't like nightwish. Never have, I know they are amazing but eh not for me. Like Hollywood always says, music is subjective. I absolutely love deicide yet most will probably turn the music off after 30 seconds. No matter what I'm still here for the episode.
