I'm loving the Queen reactions and I want more, but you're absolutely right. Pink Floyd deserves a lot of love.
Soooo weird that you chose to react to this today. I randomly decided to watch the movie Pink Floyd The Wall last night for the first time in MANY years.

More fun to have....start Dark Side Of The Moon album when the lion roars before The Wizard of Oz starts with sound down and the lyrics and scenes match up weirdly, it's something we did for fun in the 90s, it was a trendy fad thing like eating tide pods lol....but nobody died...hahaha it only works for the first side of the album.

Timeless era
Pink Floyd is created to lay back with the headphones on, lights off and listen to the entire album beginning to end, no spaces between songs. Change your life!

@@PradaWest I hope you decide to do a few of their albums as there's a few great ones.DSOTM is a classic! As is The Wall.the movie of The Wall is an interesting watch also.takes me back to my teen days.thankyou again for this reaction ❤
That is David Gilmour on both guitar solos. Gilmour joined Pink Floyd in 1968. Bob Klose was only with Pink Floyd briefly around 1965. Syd Barrett was long gone from Pink Floyd at the time that Comfortably Numb was released in 1979.

'The Wall' in it's entirety is an inimitable masterpiece..... An absolute Monster of an album.❤
U can really just close ur eyes and just lay back and take Pink Floyd in!!! This song is so iconic!!!

Absolutely 💯
Just check out the live version from the 1994 division build tour called the Pulse concert! You'll see David Gilmour playing extended guitar solo and you'll believe you're watching the end of close encounters of the third kind with the beyond description light show and guitar solo!!
The live Pulse concert is treasure trove of Pink Floyd. Comfortably Numb, Sorrow, High Hopes, Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Wish You Were Here, Run Like Hell, Coming Back To Life and many more. Also check out On The Turning Away live...it'll blow your pip. David Gilmour in my opinion is the greatest guitarist this planet has ever had.
The first time for Comfortably Numb is very special. Most people's favorite song from the album "The Wall". One of the most iconic guitar solos in history 👍😎
One of my all time fav tunes.Saw them live 3 times Best shows aAll 3 in 2 yr period all completely different shows

Agree 100 percent!!! Me also my friend!
This band is of their own. Incredible creations from them. It is often referred to as the Pink Floyd experience. The reasons behind this lovely number are often confused. They are pretty spectacular. Many others to listen to~A true rabbit hole. Thank you for sharing.
one of my favorite songs. much love to you. he's singing about him on heroine. I used to have the movie and would trip to acid when id watch the movie
Very much recommend listening to to live version at pulse concert 1994. Perhaps Gilmores finest effort. 🙂
I love Pink Floyd ❤💯

Pink Floyd is one of my favortie bands of all time. This song is about one of their founding band members who developed mental illness from taking too many drugs. A lot of their songs are tributes to this person. Pink Floyd's music is so original and such a high quality. To me it is mind music, every song takes me on a journey of some sort and the members of this band are legendary. David Gilmore is the guitarist.
I agree with many other comments. When this album first came out, I would come home from a party, lay in bed with headphones on, lights off and put this album on the turn table. 40 years later, I told my boys to do the same (CD) and to this day, they thank me.
Good old Bob Close. Nice to hear him mentioned, he rarely gets the credit he deserves.
You really need to watch the live version ❤
Ive seen these live twice.amazing.been a fan since early 70s. Enjoy going down their rabbithole. Watch Echoes live from pompeii.

The whole album is great this album all the songs I have it in my car

Hahaha I've had PF's The Division Bell in my car's stereo for two years now. It never gets old. 🤘🏽💗
So the band started out as Syd Barrett (lead guitar, vocals lyrics Roger Waters Bass Richard Wright Keyboards Nick Mason Drums BUT by the end of the 60's Syds Mental Health and drug issues meant he dropped out of the band as Dave Gilmour stepped in to cover lead guitar and Roger took over writing lyrics. Roger, Dave and Richard all sing lead vocals. Alot of subsequent tracks reference Syd and his mental health issues with the entire album "Wish You Were Here" is all about Syd.
It really doesn't get better than Pink Floyd. 🤘🏽💗
My favourite pink Floyd song also wish you were here another gem
I really really enjoy your pink Floyd reactions mate! Very thoughtful and thorough.Nice one!

I enjoyed your reaction, You have entered the Pink Floyd rabbit hole, I will say like others here, you should check out the 1994 Pulse concert, enjoy the visuals with the music, do the entire concert in segments and enjoy the journey, I'm sure that you will be most greatful for taking that journey my Friend !! God Bless.
GREAT ALBUM 👍🏻🤘🏻
My first Floyd concert was 1969 or 1970 ...Atom Heart Mother album. Excellent . Dark Side of the Moon at Earls Court in i think 1972 was off the friggin charts!!!! Possibly the tabs of acid contributed ....either way it was far out!!!😂😂😂😂😂❤ All Floyd gigs were astounding musically and visually. Great time to have been young. Watch the Pulse concert to experience David Gilmour solos and the visuals of this track.
Glad to see you digging in
With Pink Floyd, keep in mind that their biggest selling albums (Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, The Wall, and even The Final Cut) are all telling a story, like a book, so each song is like a chapter in a book. Many of the songs will make more sense if you listen to the album from start to finish, same as a book will make a lot more sense if you read it from start to finish, instead of picking one chapter out here or there. The songs are all great in their own right, individually. But they will make more sense in the context of the whole album 👍
One of my favorite bands.. ❤
Love Pink Floyd! ❤

great reaction, you definetly need to see the live pulse concert version, id also recommend HIGH HOPES from the pulse concert
Wish you were here is another great
Grand reaction sir, from a rapper. You didn't interrupt either of David Gilmore's guitar solos - kudos to you. You got a Like & Sub from me. I always love watching young people discover PF for the first time. Definitely react to more please - you will really enjoy it, particularly as you said you like to work out songs' meanings. Some advice when watching more PF - only have the song and lyrics (no "official" videos, as they distract from the experience of the song), unless of course you watch any live performances, then just sit back and enjoy. You must see the live version of this first song, Comfortably Numb, and make sure it's from the 1994 Pulse concert. The 3 original members are in it (David Gilmore - guitar, Nick Mason - drums, Richard Wright - keyboards (not with the fuzzy hair). We have lost Richard since then - RIP. Watch any songs from that pulse concert. Other audio versions with lyrics to listen to are Wish You Were Here, Time, Us and Them, Shine On You Crazy Diamond (all parts), and many more. Always good to do a little research on the lyrics before you listen to any of their songs too, to get the context and deeper meanings. Enjoy the rabbit hole.
I hope you check out “Time” from Pink Floyd, you will love the lyrics
Now this is where you smoke and relax. Not in the car though!!
Great reaction, alot of fun. Would love to see you react to SORROW and SHINE ON YOU CRAZY DIAMOND, both from their 1994 Pulse concert. My favorites!!
I liked and subscribed so I can watch you react to the live Pulse concert of this, from 1994. Dude it will blow you away. Also from this concert: Wish You Were Here. That’s one of my fav PF songs, but that particular live version of it is outstanding. Anything from that concert is dope. Best band ever and your mind and heart will break wide open on more than one of their songs. I highly recommend lyrics when you get to the song, Time (that’s the only song I’d recommend the recorded version of actually).

This is a very very very. Deep song and so fitting! You got this man! Good music right here
Muito bom esse som. Um clássico do pink Floyd
4:59 its ok to let those tears fall love makes you stronger!
You can't go wrong with Floyd. Try Wish you were here. Great reaction as usual my friend and Peace out ✌️ ☮️
Dave Gilmour was the guitarist. You def need to listen to more Floyd. Try Dark Side of the Moon next, the whole album
David Gilmour on guitar
Hey good to see you here
This is an episode from a specific concept album. Perhaps a more "typical" Floyd would be "Money" (audio only version) not the official video as that's a cut down radio version. Money has alot of the typical "Floyd" sounds, tempo switch up etc and like most Floyd tracks some impeccable guitar work

David Gilmour among the best to ever pick up the guitar. Also co-lead vocalist of pink floyd. Check out "Time" by the next... studio.
Echoes live from Pompei
"How can you have any pudding if you don't eat your meat???" Gen X gets it...if you don't then you need to watch official vid "Another Brick In The Wall"...
I cant believe ya havnt heard this before.pink floyd the wall movie . Awesome music
Nice reaction to David Gilmour, the greatest slow hand guitarist ever. Enjoy your Floyd journey. Judging by your library, you might enjoy a song called Roundabout by YES off the Fragile album ✨️🎶✨️

Like others have said, pulse '94! You're about to go down a huge rabbit hole! I know you love queen but I think Floyd will blow your mind!
React also, to Confortably numb, live in Pompeii with David Gilmour 2015. Not bad at all, for a man in his 70's...
