He's supposed to be a scare actor and keeps getting startled by coworkers and attraction goers alike till it ends with him fainting and being dragged out by Shinobu. This all lines up perfectly with the Inazuma festival event where they had a test of courage.

I just had a funny idea, Freminet scares the scare actors because he put on the helmet to block out the scariness, and it just looks like he's some sort of faceless armoured machine when the actors try to jump out at him

Gorou only went to the haunted house because Itto works there and he took Kokomi with him for emotional support, but they're both just shitting their pants and crying by the end and Itto and Shinobu have to take a break to comfort them XD Meanwhile Wrizzlord being drooled on by Lisa and saying "ma'am, I have a boyfriend..." and Neuvi standing behind them menacingly

I can also see Yelan being an extremely effective scare actor. Since she can easily sneak up on people and knows exactly how to frighten people.

Miko is definitely the one who funded the haunted house and put Hu Tao in charge. Maybe she se tit all up just to try to scare Ei and even though it didn’t work she found a lot of pleasure in watching everyone else get scared.

Heizou is actually not that much of a scaredy cat. During the test of courage event, he was the only one who remained calm even after the revelation of an evil spirit and immediately analysed the situation. Also, makes sense since as a detective, he can't be superstitious, has to be skeptical by nature and probably developed nerves of steel to handle such situations. Also, I don't think Wanderer would be scared or even frightened. This guy went through Genshin Impact's version of the netherealm (The Abyss) for centuries and seen some of the must effed up shit in lore, so nothing's gonna faze him, not even a jumpscare.

Hu Tao would be one of the scare actors but no one actually gets scared of her 💀🧍‍♀️

That's pretty much what happened with the test of courage event. He was trying to scare people only to end up being scared by the yokai kids I think

I feel like Chongyun will actually be excited, because he'll think he met with a ghost that isn't agfedted by his energy And then he realise it's fake like one second later Also I remember a Tumblr post saying "Those manmade horror are unfortunately well within my comprehension" and it fit with Albedo, Dainsleif and Childe so well Whenever it's because they are manmade horror or not is up to you

Here are the general reaction of the characters from a Test of Courage event in 3.3: Ayaka: Scared but she embrace it. Gorou: Take things very seriously. Kazuha: Not scared but appreciates the event. Yoimiya: Not scared but very curious and excited about everything. Sayu: Very scared and tries to hide. Thoma: Not scared but interested in the event (Maybe a bit scared?). Edit: Finally! Here’s a couple lil tidbits: - I wear a really unsettling looking mask so most of the time I scare people just by looking at them, also I get called “man” a lot like “HEY MAN BACK OFF” lol - I’ve seen several little brave kids trying to protect their moms which is super wholesome! They’ll come through like “DONT SCARE MY MOM SHES NERVOUS” 🥹🥹 - my favorite activity is trying to scare dads who are usually in the back of the group and trying to be tough, I scared some huge guy recently and he just started swearing at me in Spanish while laughing I felt very accomplished hahaha - also sometimes my coworkers will come out from around the corner and genuinely scare me LOL the masks are too freaky and it’s so dark I stg 😭😭

I think that Keqing would punch the person that scared her and Ganyu Edit: I'd also feel bad for whoever Shenhe punched because I doubt she held back

Let me cook here. Diluc would be the one who came up with the idea and turned Dawn Winery into a haunted house. He'd play it off as it being like a relations thing between nobles and commoners or whatever, but he really just wants everyone to have a good time.

It definitely wasn't his own idea. As if he wanted everyone to come in his mansion, break his dear vases etc. Yet Dori, Dori.... who knows...

Yaoyao would be the type to be like “you can hold my hand if you get scared” and then she’d get scared and scream and then say “it’s okay! we’re okay, we can do this.” She’d be going in to protect her friends but she’d also get scared 🥺🧡

Hu Tao would definitely be the one in charge of the haunted house, and everyone would get funeral parlor coupons with their tickets. Yanfei drafted waivers for everyone to sign prior to entering. Dori would be selling all sorts of souvenirs at the ticket booth alongside an Angel Share employee selling drinks. Kaveh designed the entire building and coordinated decorations while Alhaitham supervised (by sitting in a corner reading) and made snide remarks. Kirara orchestrated the ordering and delivery of props and makeup. Xinyan and Yoimiya took care of special effects while Lyney developed performances for all the scarers. Wriothesley agreed to be a scarer out of boredom while Itto got way too into it. Shinobu did such a great job with Itto's costume that she was put in charge of everyone's against her will. Baizhu has a medical tent set up out back and has enlisted Barbara as his assistant. Qiqi got lost and ends up accidentally scaring people while she tries to find the exit. Beidou is absolutely intoxicated upon arrival, and Ningguang only agreed to go to keep her from causing a scene. Kaeya and Rosaria constantly try to mess with the scarers while Jean tries to catch them and put an end to it. Childe brough a real sword that he pulls out to intimidate the scarers when they try to sneak up on him. Cyno keeps making everyone who tries to scare him groan as he unleashes a torrent of puns, much to Tighnari's dismay. Bennett somehow got tangled in a fake spider web and no one can seem to get him out of it. Ayato bribed a few of the scarers to constantly jump out at Ayaka and Thoma. Neuvillette is unphased by the scarers, but commends them for their efforts and gives pointers on how they can improve. Lisa has obtained the contact information for at least five of the scarers just by looking their way. Chongyun keeps mistaking scarers for evil spirits and is eventually escorted out. Xingqui walks through the entire house while reading a book and barely paying attention. Scaramouche and Nahida attend in her attempts to make him socialize more, but he spends the entire evening insulting the scarers. Yae Miko blackmailed Gorou into going with her so she can laugh every time he freaks out. Dehya stops by after already visiting three other haunted houses with her mercenary friends and a reluctant Candace in tow.

Sayu would be an amazing scare actor, the traveler just need to spend half their time making sure she’s not sleeping in the box she’s supposed to jump out of

I'm usually in the "scared" tier, but last year i went to a house immediately after getting off of work and I hadnt turned off my "customer service" mode yet. I spent almost the entire time _greeting_ the scare actors like they were customers. I just kept going "Hello. How are you? How is your day going?" the entire time and felt so awkward for it while the rest of my group were screaming their heads off. I had ti start biting my tongue by the halfway point to stop reacting to the actors with politeness.

Well I think Freminet is not scared of haunted houses and all of its horrors; he is terrified of noises and unwanted attention. Reading his voicelines about wearing his helmet while assassinations do say a clue about him.

Kokomi to me is a sleeper not scared at all. She been through too much to get scared by a haunted house. Maybe a jumpscare will get her, but she just has bigger fish on her mind. Some dude comes out of a wall and she jumps, but as soon as she leave the room shes like "oh man I hope im ready for the legislative meeting tomorrow"😟

I can imagine Baizhu fainting and Qiqi having to drag him to the exit. One of the "Not scared at all" is bored since nothing works for them, until they see a little child dragging an unconscious body, who then turns towards them with a dead stare and says "Shh... Doctor Baizhu needs to rest..." and THAT is what gets them HORRIFIED.

This is definitely a hot take, but I love the idea of the Fontaine siblings going together, where Freminet is crying/freaking out, Lynette is trying to calm him down also trying not to laugh at Lyney who is attempting to be one of the not-scared-at-all types that crack jokes to lighten the mood, but he keeps getting scared and screaming

my headcanon is that kaveh got so scared he passed out so then alhaitham just drags him out scaring the actors thinking he killed him and that yae was a scare actor specifically for gorou

Ok I can also see Rizzley in either the not scared at all or cracking jokes, cuz given his personality, he’s probably gonna also be smirking/smiling when someone tries to scare him, and go “nice try” but then also cracking jokes when one of his friends get scared or decks someone in the face like “Ooh good punch” seeing as he’s a boxer and all 😂❤

Neuvillette gives off the vibes of the dad who got talked into it by the mélusines and wriothesley and wriothesley is the only one who gets scared in the group. Out of pure vibes

Wanderer as a scare actor would be hilarious. Like he'd be really good at it, but also a hair's breadth from a lawsuit every night lmao

HC: Klee was hired to be a scare actor, but fired because she tried to use bombs. Kaeya could also be a scare actor. I could honestly see him being the guy who really enjoys when he has the attention and fear. He would get punched by Collei, and then laugh about it to put her at ease. He would compliment her right hook and say 'luckily I can ice it.' I think Kaveh would either be scared or act scared so he can crawl up on his trusted companion. Imagine him pregaming with Bedou before the haunted house. (Those two need to meet)

Once someone pops out to try and scare Alhaitham, he starts lecturing them on everything they did wrong. From the inaccuracy of their costume, to their poor acting skills (according to him). Shinobu I can see being one of those creepy scare actors. Not one of the ones that jumps out at you, but more one of the ones that either reaches out for you thru some broken side wood paneling, or just quietly stalks you relentlessly through like a mirror maze or something. Tighnari would probably ask the scare actors to please not scream so loud next time. Not even because he's scared. SOLELY bcuz it hurts his ears. Also I can all-too-easily see wanderer being a scare actor. And your comment on Lisa and rizzley, I meannnnnn, they both greatly value their tea time. 😂 Xiao would punch, but not cuz he's scared. Just pure reflex from battling for so long. 😅

i feel like ei would be really freaked out because this is her first time in a haunted house and sara would be overprotective while yae laughs at the both of them 💀💀

Lyney and Lynette would 100% be decking out the haunted house with all kinds of special effects. Like, manipulating the lighting to make it look like the actors have no head, attaching hidden ropes so objects look like they're levitating (maybe they helped out with Fischl and Mona's theatrics), even the "have two actors dress the same so it looks like one person is appearing two places at once" bit.

In the haunted forest event a while back, where we got the red parasol sword, Thoma was the chillest of dudes. Nothing could scare him, to the point of being almost unnerving. Thoma has nerves of steel, but he seems harmless due to his charisma and friendly attitude. I think Ayato knows how scary Thoma can be and takes full advantage of that, when he sends him out to get things done.

Scara and Xiao punch poor Itto because he jumpscared them. They just have that look at each other and think that they are on the same page and don't care that they just hurt Itto.

I actually think that Cyno, in good Cyno fashion, would be cracking up jokes left and right, partially to comfort Collei after throwing hands out of instinct. I’m under the impression that Tighnari has a fairly sensitive nose on top of his sensitive ears, so I’d say he’s almost snarling at people when they jump out at him. I genuinely wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up smacking a scare actor as well (I reckon he’d find it pretty stressful tbh)

my new headcanon is that lyney would sort be kind of flirting with the visitors in the haunted house and use his ability with tricks and stuff too, he'll try to scare lynette and she'll just stand there with a straight face, meanwhile freminet is panicking and lynette tries to scare back the scare actors even though she doesn't even work there to protect fremi from the spooks

I am the only one who think that Cyno is not only not scared but he is making Halloween/horror puns the whole time, and when a scare actor jumps out at him, he just stares and proceeds to make a bad pun or joke to the actor. Literally one of the first things I did in my teapot was make a haunted house. I failed to get Hu Tao on her first run, so I put Zhongli there as a placeholder.

Here’s the scene I imagine for Scaramouche and Xiao. Previously with Zhongli: Z: Hello Xiao, how have you been? X: Fine Z: Glad to hear it. Well, there’s a haunted house near here and I was wondering if you’d be interested in going X: What’s a haunted house? *Z proceeds to explain haunted house* X: Why would people purposely subject themselves to evil. ANd NoT Do AnYThiNg AbOuT iT?!?! Z: It’s simply for fun, will you go? X: Sure, I guess Meanwhile with Nahida: N: Hi Wanderer, how are you doing? S: Fine. N: Good! I have a new mission for you. There’s going to be a haunted house and i want u to go. S: No N: It will be good for increasing ur social awareness. Also, I ward your friend Xiao will be there to. S: He’s not my friend, we both got traumatized at a wedding that’s all ok? N: Sure.. So you’ll go? S: Fine Present time: N&Z: Have a good time you two *highfive* X: You’re here? S: Sadly *Both walk in. After a couple mins* T(Tartag): *jumps out and reaches for neck* X&S: No you don’t!! *both punch T* X: Nice punch.. S: Yea, you too… *both decide to start running full speed to throw the actors off. Later* E(Ei): Scaramouche?!?!? S: MOM?!?! I-I mean creator?!?! E: How dare you run around cause ping chaos. I did not make you to be this way! S: Yea you did! Maybe if you didn’t abandon me… *Btoh start arguing while Xiao stands in a corner watching the whole thing* M(Miko): Maybe we should all calm down S: CaLM DoWn? How dare you even speak to me, not only did you do nothing when SHE threw me away, you went and fell in love with her! THATS RIGHT I saw you two kissi- E: *gasp* How dare you bring that up in public! TO YOUR ROOM NOW!!! S: NO! *Takes Xiao’s arm and runs off again* Hope Ya’ll enjoyed :-) Part two at 10 likes!

I think Yun Jin might be an actor in the same group as Fischl and Mona but not actor ACTOR, more like part of the crew that sets the stage, I think she knows very well how to manage theater-like areas and to prepare everything for maximum effect

I can see Cyno deadpanning through a scare that is up at his face and then proceed to turn around to talk to Tighnari (or just talk to the scare actor) and equally deadpan crack a dad joke about it. And honestly hot take but somehow I got the feeling Ningguang actually owns the place and is doing an undercover inspection.

Nahida giving the scare actors a philosophical lecture. And a whole gang of Aranara just wanders/flocks around Nahida unfazed.

So first we have the Test of Courage from Chongyun's hangout where he ditches Xingqiu and buddies up with the Traveler. And now at the Haunted House, Xingqiu finally gets Chongyun as his partner only for him to yell, "EVIL SPIRIT" and deck Dave the high school volunteer. And after 4.1 I hope Mika and Noelle are clinging to each other like the hopeless introverts they are.

I find it funny how Baizhu isn't stated to be scared, he just fained bc hes stick af 💀💀 Also BLESS YOU for not making Diluc mean, ur so correct on him!!

Miko is definitely either a scare actor or cracking jokes because she scared the actual actors. Either way, she's scaring people and has way too much fun doing so. Also, Hu Tao came to her with the business idea and Miko gave her the funding, thinking it'll be funny to see.

Yae Miko would be going into the haunted house together with the inazuma-people. But right halfway through she would just disappear and then harass first gouro and then ei till they faint and be escorted out just for some giggles. Meanwhile Sara misinterprate the situation and punched 2 completly innocent scare actors in the face x.X

If Furina was here she would be the one peeing herself 😂😂😂 she would try to hide the fact that she did it and once they got out she would be the one to say "I think I need yo go to the bathroom" and immediately look for someone selling shorts or something near the park 😂

My head canon: Childe’s role in the haunted house will be Satan

Razor would be trying to get out and if he did actually get scared he would run back and/or follow Rosaria’s voice and cling onto her leading to Rosaria slugging Itto or Tartaglia out of the “sisterly” instinct meanwhile for all the children they get some high quality candy from Tartaglia as they leave

I had an asthma attack at a haunted maze with my friends, because I wasn't told about the fog machines. I'm also very sensitive to smells, they give me headaches and can sometimes aggravate my asthma. So, I ended up having to get escorted out. Twas a bummer, because I wanted to see all the costumes 😞 I've been to stuff more recently, and I somehow scared the scare actors a couple times. I dont even know how. I did purposefully scare my friends while we walked through them though as well.

god I remember going to a couple Halloween events a couple years ago and I was like the perfect target for the actors cuz I was in that perfect range of “young enough to to easily scare the shit out of but not so young they’ll cry if you do anything”

Zhongli absolutely only came because Childe invited him and he walks around the whole thing with his hands behind his back and a bemused smile until he gets to Childe where he’s all “oho Childe yes, very good I am intrigued to see you in such a new and unusual setting. The make up work appears to have taken a long time, it seems you have worked very hard to appear more fearsome than before” like he’s on a full 10 minute monologue and Childe has to break character to be like “hey Zhongli you’re going to have to moves along there’s people waiting we can talk later”
