personally, i felt like miguel was just mad as hell that miles had accidentally tangoed a bit with the multiverse(the collider, being bit by the wrong spider) and hadn’t suffered any loss, unlike miguel. i feel like the whole entire concept of canon events could either be a plot hole in itself or miguel might be completely wrong. wouldn’t the fact that the “canon event” in pavitr’s universe completely disprove his theory? the destruction that would have led to the chief’s death was not at all supposed to happen at that time, had the spot not travelled there. but, if a canon event is supposed to happen no matter the circumstance, wouldn’t that somewhat mean that in miles’ universe, there’s supposed to be a spiderman, no matter the circumstance? or maybe miguel’s right and he’s just a bitter old man lol

Great comment and you raise some really good points. My interpretation is that Miguel thinks canon events are true, but he is actually wrong. The movie seems to want us to side with Miles and gives some hints that canon isn't always true like in Spider-Man Indias world and the fact that Gwen's dad quits being in the police. I think this shows that canon events can be changed and thats what Miles needs to do to save his dad. I'm not sure if Miguel is just wrong but thinks he is right or if it he has an ulterior motive to his actions, he seems to be hiding something! In terms of Miles I think he is supposed to be Spider-Man, thats why I say "wrong" spider in this video, as he is the Spider-Man of his world now. The vigilante Miles we meet at the end shows that Miles is going to try to be a hero whether he has the Spider powers or not. Thats my interpretation of the film. If a 16-year-old boy did something that would put the universe at risk, you would be angry too. The movie keeps us closer to Miles, but to be honest, if they prove Miles right, the movie will have no effect. Miles has to prove that he can't save everyone. Also, Miguel Canon does not say that Evemt will definitely destroy the universe. He says that if it is done enough, we can lose everything. From this perspective, even if the universe will not definitely disappear, it is justified to be cautious against it.

17:01 the best part is that the concept of the mayday storyline in the comics is that its a dream that will never happen but a broken down spiderman made it a reality. the ppl who made this film are actually spiderman fans and understand the character and i LOVE IT

That’s so true, great point, it would be awesome to see Peter B Parker meet an older version of Mayday as Spider-Woman!

It’s crazy how in the concept art we could’ve had spider-boy from the amalgam universe. Which, technically we could’ve had basically a DC character since that version of the characters, both owned by marvel, and DC. I wish they would’ve struck the deal to keep him in the film. Maybe they’ll do so in beyond in Spiderverse, but I doubt it.

To be clear, the Insomniac Spider-Man you mentioned in this video is probably the comic counterpart of him. The real one is next to 2 pixelated villains that are trap in anomaly prisons, with Lyla calling them "Video Game Guys". He was also voiced by Yuri Lowenthal himself! But sadly giving 1 line "Are you- talking to me?"

I’m not sure who will die, most likely some generic ones we don’t care about and maybe 2099 in an act of redemption, Sony will want to keep the others around for spin off films. I think the spider-people might turn against the spider society as Gwen’s new team help to prove canon events are wrong and hopefully spectacular Spidey can turn against the society too.

@@CINEMAZE Gwen and Jess Drew live no matter what. A Spin-Off titled Spider-Woman starring Gwen and Jess is being made. I don't believe it's a prequel especially given the third main character is Cindy Moon/Silk who is kinda a big deal to the lore of the Spiders...Connecting to the Mystical side of things. So Cindy Moon/Silk would have the facts of what is going on with Canon Events...Which is why she's going to be after because otherwise there would be no conflict. So yeah...All the guys are in danger. My guess is Miguel and Miles 42 and Peter B for main character deaths.

I definitely enjoyed this!!! My personal favorite is gwen (you can tell by my profile picture HAHAH) but pavitr and hobie are second place! I agree indefinitely that miles is THE best spider-man though, gwen just has a special place in my heart because her story and her arc and everything is just… wow my least favorite spider-man would probably be Ben Reilly / Scarlet Spider he just wasn't funny to me and just seemed like a drag on the movie (but I'm not a 90s kid, so I'm probably not the intended audience for that character lol)

5miguel. He's awesome,ruthless haves a great backstory and he's one of the more interesting characters 4 peeter b. He was great in itsv,preety much the best version of peeter parker but he was preety underused in atsv(didn't rly take anything away but i feel like the next are better) 3 miles. He's the protagonist,the one with the struggle and groth but this aspects are overshadowed by number one wich have a better storry,bigger groth and bigger struggels. He's great all across the board but i like the next 2 a litle more 2 spider-punk. He's incredible. Everything he does is halarious but,even tho you don't realyse at the moment, makes sense,he's supportive and concerned with miles,like a older brother, he also exposes gwen's lies and question her for what she's doing +is loats of fun. I love hobbie,only problem with him is that british accent(ik he's british in comics and i won't have anything with it but is rly hard to understand what he's saying. Even after 9 watches,i have no clue of what a part of his lines are) 1 gwen. As i said. Her story is better in every aspect. Is more layered, it makes a bland,love interest character like she was in itsv and adds and adds on it. Her struggles and her relation with his father made her like that. Closed to everyone. She cares for miles but she looks down on him,like a kid,trying to protect him for the truth by not telling him everything he needs to hear or,straight up lying. She's miss depressive and vulnerable,with her situation becaming worse after her dad finds out. She's missguided and tryes to do what's right (like she said:we are supposed to be the good guys)but fail,distencing herself from the everyboddy,'till she's left alone. That's the changing point. She solves her problems with her dad trough what is the best scene of the movie and go to make things right with miles. I can go on and on all day. Main point,she had the biggest groth and she's amazing
