Oh man I love Beatles for sale, not as much as others though…

On The Threshold .... is my favourite Moody Blues album. Love Dear Diary & Have You Heard & The Production is amazing !

The Beatles were tired when they made that album Larry and they look it on the cover,still a great album though not the Beatles best and also an album with covers on it. Bob

Some good ones again today. Beatles for Sale isn't everyone's cup of tea, but it contains some of my all time favorite Beatles songs.

Beatles for Sale is great- No Reply - great opener, I’m a loser, I don’t want to spoil the party - Lennon’s moodiness is wonderful. Yeah, he’s a little weary, but it’s of a piece with the cover. Not everyone is smiling:) The rest is fine - fill in with pretty excellent stuff, as for me, I’ll follow the sun.

As much as I love The Beatles, my number 1 has to be Alice Cooper in this video. Schools Out's title track is so huge it overshadows those other really great songs on that album. Blue Turk, Looney Tune or My Stars are classics as well as Gutter Cats and Public Animal #9 (number 9, number 9....). Jeez, Alma Mater and the closing song Grand Finale are awesome too. 10/10 perfect album and way up there in AC's best albums ranking. Number 2 would be Beatles For Sale of course. Suffers from similar problem like Schools Out, because most people just know Eight Days thanks to their best of's just having this one song off that album. Can't speak for the other 10 albums, since I don't know them.

Great ranking! I know the feeling because it is difficult to justify ranking much of anything above a Beatles album. The cultural and artistic impact these songs have had on the World is soooo heavy and almost suffocating. And yet, I would not have it any other way. Just the album cover alone puts it in the top tier of art in that century, IMO.

Great reminder, I want to play my copy of that Moody Blues album sometime in the next couple of days. I 100% agree with what you said about 'Propaganda', it is my favorite, but 'The Girl Is Crying...' has to be tied with 'Kimono' in second place and are all a 10/10!

I enjoyed that. Beatles album very cool, I dig it. Moody Blues has some great songs on it as do the Zappa and Sparks! Larry, I was hoping to see a video on what Mittens got for Christmas. And, what she and Mollie (Foxy Lady) gave you. p.s. I've got Schools Out on vinyl. Classic Alice and the cover! Brillant idea. ☮

But...just reading new comments : a few people really hate " Dark side " and jump on the comments train...and some feel the need to explain WHY it's a great album. Larry, this is a GREAT experiment, please give us more...and see and read...bloody hell.
