I gotta agree with everyone, the Buldak should’ve had way less water. Though, I would put those in their own category anyways since they’re more of a stir-fried noodle, and I still think they’d be beat out by Indomie (if featured.) Best highdea I’ve ever had was putting some kewpie, corn, fresh squeezed lime juice (and some zest,) and cotija on the 2X spicy Buldak. Basically elote ramen 🤌🏽 If we’re going ramen with broth, Shin Black is probably my favorite that’s available in pretty much every grocery store around.
As a Korean, I disapprove of how the Buldak Series were prepared. It's all water discarded from the noodles (just enough to keep the noodles damp, not wet) before the sauce and the flakes. Then eaten.

@@silvesta5027 The difference is as stark as stir-fried rice and rice porridge. The flavor of stir-fried Buldak is vastly different, and so is the texture and heat. Stir-fried is the way to go, unless you can't handle the spice. Then you do what Babish did and skip stir-frying. The noodles won't be as nice, the flavor won't be as intense, but at least the spiciness will be greatly reduced and will quickly go away.
