Ramyun means ramen in Korean

The red package Shin Ramyun is just too damn good, especially with pork or egg added to it. The broth is unreal, but definitely spicy if you aren't use to heat!

Yeah I usually put it in raw, and cook it in the broth for the last couple minutes like a poached egg. You can also quickly fry it and throw it in as well if your prefer the fried texture

Eduardo Cerna a lot of instant ramen is actually 2 servings in a pack. Some are 900mg per serving. So it’s more like 1800mg in one package. The creamy chicken flavor they tried has over 1200mg total.

I was in Korea in 1986 when Shin Ramyun debuted. Fabulous. But Maruchan Chili Ramen is a cheaper alternative. Chapagetti Chajang Myun is pretty darn good too.

Shin ramen is one of my favorites and go to. I love ramen with a passion and spicy is where it’s at. Sometimes I will sacrifice my other stock and double up the spicy on the one cup. I wish I could taste true ramen in Japan.

This is pretty cool. The only type of instant Ramen i eat are the two that ended up at the end. lol.

Personally the Indomie Stir Fry Noodles are my favorite along with the Nongshim Soon Veggie Noodle ramen, but the Nongshim Red used to be a fav along with the Maruchan Beef and Cup Noodle Chicken flavor (I used to come home every day after school and watch HIMYM and eat this). Watching this made me really wanna try the Creamy Chicken flavor along with the Top Ramen Chili Flavor, but I think my first ever favorite was definitely the Maruchan Chicken flavor :) honorable mentions are the Maruchan Yakisoba Teriyaki Beef flavor and the Nissan Cup Noodles Stir Fry Teriyaki Chicken Flavor and also the Nissan Chow Mein Teriyaki Chicken flavor

Shin Ramyun and Indomie is the only one that’s every asian’s fave ramens. Mythicalbeasts needs to try more ramens other than Maruchan lmao

Nissin is the best as far as mixing with other snacks like Cheetos, Fritos etc. It's a jailhouse burrito technically but it's absolutely delicious with the end result.

I just tried Nongshim Gold for the first time, very good. But there's something really addictive about Maruchan Creamy Chicken

its nice seeing people in the video and comments enjoy shin ramyun so much, I have it almost everyday at the convivence store as a Korean

I'd love to see the "Most Mythical Episode Ever" where they try and cram as many GMM tropes and episode styles into one to create some gloriously concentrated GMM goodness!!

As a regular consumer of Shin ramen, I can agree with the outcome of today’s episode.

i’ve never cheered for ramen until today. i feel victorious.

I cheered for the shin ramyun way to hard😂 You should try the beef bone flavor one. That way one is like a warm spicy hug🤌🏽😭

@@Dylan-iw1fj You can find them at Walmart, fam. Just gotta look where the ramen usually is, as that’s where I tend to find them. If you live in the South, you could also try your local Publix.

Those are the ONLY noodles I eat. Now that They’ve won I’m gonna have a even harder time finding them!

I literally buy them in bulk bc I couldn't find them for 2 months when quarantine started and the withdrawl was something I didn't want to experience again lol

@Tenzin Nordon It's definitely popular here if you hang around people who eat instant noodles often. Every person I've met at my university (the area has alot of Asian influence) know that's the best one regardless of whether they were born in the US or not

I can't have ramen anymore, but maruchan always went directly from undercooked to soggy... The texture was gross!

wow, i never finished this video but I'm so glad they chose shin ramyun as their favorite because it's my favorite too :3

Currently rewatching this and to you should create a "Where's that instant ramen from?" Dart game! Plenty of countries have their version of instant noodles!

Indomie when prepared correctly, is some serious gourmet sht.

@@stanleydrones They shouldn't have had a broth for the Indomie noodles, just dry style. It literally loses all it's flavour since they made it with broth

Nongshim is my favorite noodle brand. I discovered them when i was at an Asian market and saw this old Japanese lady buy like 10 things of the red one and I said welp I know what I'm gettin.

As a Korean, I’m so proud of both Rhett and Link selecting shin ramyun as the winner.

Today was my first time tryin shin ramen it’s really good

Those shin noodles are fantastic, I can't get enough of them here in the UK.

Shin Ramyun is an experience. I tried it after this video. As someone who doesn't like spice it's balanced perfectly as added flavor. My favorite is Bone Broth. I even drink the broth it's so good. If you do like spice you are really going to enjoy this soup.

Haven't seen the whole video yet (only the intro + contestant) but there is no way Nongshim doesn't win. It's not in the same league as the others... not even close.

We have box of twenty packs of ramen in our house, and we ONLY eat Nongshim. It is by far the best one.

Absolutely. I think the only reasons Nongshim wasn’t the number 1 seed going in were that it’s so expensive, and Maruchan is a more well-known brand.

Creamy chicken has that Garlic Parmesan type of flavor to it imo and I love it so much but my overall favorite is the Maruchan Chili

I completely agree. Those noodles are crazy good

I love more that they mature their comedic style alongside their kids age.

I like how their pronunciation of "nong shim shin ramyun" changes every time XD

Here I am in 2022, every-time I eat Ramen I watch this exact episode because it just feels comforting

Indomie Mi Goreng Instant Fried Noodles are by far the best noodles I’ve ever had they are so underrated! No one knows about them!

DUDE I remember when my dad & I discovered fried noodles at our local store. We loved them so much we called them “treasure”. Then when they disappeared we switched to Mi Goreng noodles. We used to buy them often, but slowed down as each pack is now more than $1 each.

I was not surprised at all to see shin ramyun win. No one can really beat Korea when it comes to instant noodles, lbr

I personally like the Taiwanese brand with the guy wearing the bandana, Daniel-San style. Their noodles are spiced, in addition to the spice packets. The Korean ones aren't bad, but their flavors taste similar no matter which you choose.
