When u think about it compared to last time. He played much better. And u gotta remember the rams have a tuff defense so the fact he was able to play this well is good enough for me. It also shows he can beat good defenses if everyone is working on all cylinders.

Eh, Dunbar kinda blew up. That said, it's the difference between Seattle's football and baseball teams. One is always making moves going for it all, one is constantly on a five year plan that never comes. (And the notion that the Hawks are wasting Russ like the Mariners wasted Felix is completely laughable. @@duchb2906There wasn't any clear reason why it wasn't Seattle's ball. (For anyone confused) The player wasn't touched and put down a live ball that Seattle recovered. The Refs basically tried to give L.A another shot by also padding it with a 15 yard penalty.

@@duchb2906 In the rulebook Rule 7 Section 2 Article 1 states "when a runner declares himself down by: falling to the ground, or kneeling, and clearly making no immediate effort to advance."

The team isn't really inconsistent, it is Goff who is inconsistent. Hes either really good or sucks. If he was just average all the time this team could have 12 wins.

That was a FUMBLE, he did not give himself up. He went sideways (true not forward), but it could easily been picked up by an offense player...trick play. -He got up and put the ball down and ran sideways.

It is a thing, but that wasn't how it was done. They bailed him out for a dumb play. If they had blasted him when he stood up, it would have been just a play as usual, but because it was a turnover by dumb action, they decided it was him "giving himself up"? Giving yourself up is like when players slide down to not get hit, not go down making a catch then immediately pop up. Or they take a knee or stay prone on the ground -- never is immediately standing up on two feet after not being touched giving yourself up. In fact, it's happened before. I want to say Pittsburgh and Cinci but that's from shady memory. But a rookie jumped up and spun the ball after not being touched (because he was used to college rules) and they gave the other team the opponent as a turnover.
