@@richardlefaive1944 Given the fact that the Vikings were playing in Seattle, I agree with the call to go for it at the Seahawks 5 yrd line. They only had a foot to go and with Cook it's a pretty high % play. BUT>>>>> Let's go back to the later part of 3rd quarter: The Vikings scored a TD and came within 2 points (19 to 21) and Zimmer decided to go for two instead of 1. If they'd scored 2 that's great but giving up the much higher % play of the extra point forced Zim to go for it on 4th down at the Seahawks 5. If they'd kicked the extra point in the 3rd (like they should have) the Vikings would have had a 6 point lead instead of 5 at the 2 minute warning. A FG at that point would then have given them a 9 point lead and in all probability, sealed the game. This is the reason to never go for 2 until you have to. There was over a quarter left in the game and that's too much time left to gamble like that. That was a very critical point in the game that many are forgetting. Coach Zim coached the Vikings to a loss.

It was disgusting to watch this game. If it wasn't the Viking mgmt making the wrong call, it was the players failing to execute. Some of the Vikes, especially in the defensive backfield, were determined to lose this game and overcome the great play of Thelens, Cousins et al. That DC who told them to play prevent should be fired. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory was never a more apt description.

@@rvaugh230 you are so wrong it's embarrassing. The correct play was probably a QB Sneak which is something like 75% on 4th and inches, but the decision to go for it was the correct one. They were 6 inches away from winning the game all they had to do was convert against a seattle def they had ran through all night and had already converted 2 4th downs on. Even if they didn't convert they still forced the hawks to go 92 yards. Are the Raiders wrong for going for it when they beat the chiefs today? Should they have punted? Or because they won are they suddenly geniuses? What an atrocious take.

The Seahawks got the the sidelines way to much on their final drive. The prevent defense didn't work for us. If it wasn't raining than 100% wrong call by Zimmer on 4th and 1, but with the rain making field goals more difficult as well as putting together the touchdown drive, Zimmer stuck with the precedence and went for it.

That was the fastest 21 points I've ever seen. Its like the Vikings went into the locker room up 13-0 and when they came out it was 13-21.

Wilson runs how a QB should run. Gets big yardage and gets in the dirt before he can take damage. Dak could have saved his season if he was smart like that

An excellently timed run to get out of the end zone, A good bomb(on 4th down no doubt), a pirouette that only Russ can execute and then 2 on the money throws for a td, 1 on 2nd down that the db had to make an all pro play to break up, and one on fourth down to win the game. So a lot more than one good bomb. Ball was wet, Russell was pin point accurate with the game on the line twice on fourth down. Keep hating from your couch.

As a fan of neither team, I have to say it was the most entertaining game of 2020. It had everything.

As soon as Dalvin went out of the game the momentum shifted

If Russel keeps struggling the way he did today and the Packers, Chiefs, Or Ravens offense doesn't hit many roadbumps it's going to be a very close race for MVP. Right now for me it's Rodgers but it all depends on how the Packers vs Bucs game goes. If rodgers does well hes front runner, if he struggles it's wilson.

@@aeroconz throwing for 200 yards and an Int against the VIKINGS is struggling. The 3TDS are nice but 2 of them were gift wrapped by the defense setting wilson up in the red zone. If he struggles against the vikings defense who knows what other teams he could have a hard time against. With people Iike Rodgers that thought isn't there. Rodgers has not had a struggle game so far, and if he does well against the bucs it's going to take a hit on Russel's MVP votes.

I still can’t believe how many teams passed up on him in the draft.

I suggested before I'll say it again Colin Patrick is a man with a great deal of love and he could bring something magical to Duluth Minnesota or I should say between cities but Minnesota's Viking team.

I was so pumped after the win I had to go outside and jump rope in the middle of the night, in the rain. This is why I love this team - they make the impossible possible out of shear force of passion to play the game.

As usual seahawks giving fans like me cardiac arrests. Stop doing this seatle, sehawks fans got the hearts of 90 year olds.

There’s nothing you can say to really describe how great Wilson has been this year. MVP.

Yeah agreed. Like the vikings would've had around 7-8 seconds to throw the ball at least 30-40 yards. Then maybe they could get into field goal range.... The game was over regardless of the call.

@@ajtank Run game or otherwise, it doesn't matter. Game is on the line and the odds were WAY better to kick the field goal and go up 8 with under 2 minutes to go, and only 1 Seattle timeout. No question. You even burn some clock with the kick off, say under 1:30 with 1 timeout. Game is in the bag for the Vikings. Stupid call to not kick. "No way is Zimmer that stupid", I thought. But,here we are!

What an amazing game that was.

I'm glad these hawks are actually trying to win. It's awesome to see our players spicing it up on the field
