i am 35 and when i was 25 i found out i have cancer and I've been sick for the last 9 yrs. and the last 6 months I've been feeling better. i started walking 100 city block 6 days a week for 7 months straight, rain, snow or shine..i first found alan watts, i then found you, you guys have changed my life..i loaded your teachings onto my ipod and listen everyday on my walks. I'm learning how to love because of your teachings.. .thank you.. i no longer am i harbor for hate...i will share what I'm learning with everyone i know...i love the stories of the time you spent in India with your guru..they are truly joyful and make me laugh..ram dass ram dass love everyone and tell the truth haha..

Look up Gerson if you haven't mate. That lifestyle helps. I am also unwell. I am here for the same reason. Accepting things is the same thing as healing. Really hard to let go completely. When I do my pains lessen loads. Do you meditate? It really helps me. I wasted so long not pushing it until I could quiet my mind. It changes everything.

walks are my form of mediation...I'm more of a mover..my mind is constantly running..i tried the sitting mediation but it's not my thing.. I've digested everything i could find on the net about spiritual leaders,,political systems,,quantum physics ,, art history,, etc.. etc.. since being sick I've become so interested in knowing everything about life. almost like a hunger inside of me. I've become consumed by the hunger..in a seeking kind of way.. almost like i shed the old person to become a new one. the most important thing i learned was to just put it all down and live my life.. the only thing that matters to me is how impact the lives of the inhabitants around me. i try to be as understanding and considerate as possible .treating others with dignity and respect ..because that is what feel is right in my heart. i have come to understand humanity is in a sad situation.. and i want to show others they aren't alone in this world as they belongs to a brother hood of humanity.. the sharing of knowledge by people like Ram Dass, Alan watts, Tom Campbell, Noam Chomsky, Martin Luther King ,, Malcolm X etc.etc..thousands of others. just a few of my personal favorites.. are truly a blessing as they plant the seed of thought.. from which hope sprouts. I've watched myself mature before my eyes,,and at the age of 37 i could finally say I'm am a MAN..... as the thoughts of other manifest through me i hope to contribute to humanity as my way of saying thank you for giving me the chance to experience life ... what an amazing gift.. i don't know if there is a god/ a creator/ a programmer.. but if there is anything thing out there listening .. thank you..

Roy, I've been on KZread for twelve hours today, fascinated to wander around so many videos, but also a bit disgusted when I read the hateful negativity in so many of the comments sections. I don't know why people attack one another so much, or are so impolite. And so, how very refreshing it is to now read YOUR POSITIVE comments, just before I log-off, to get some sleep. Thank you. :-)
