Aww. Bless Noam. Always giving credit where it's due. Reminds me of talks in the early 90s where he was constantly reminding his audience that Ed Herman had done a lot of the work on Manufacturing Consent.

A very clear and concise overview of post-war political History. Thank you. The film and book are much more detailed, and the endnotes supply the sources very well.

Wow, this podcast must represent one of the greatest concentrations of critical thought weightings than any other I've listened to, or been exposed to. Thanks Ralph, Chomsky and all the other global social activists, I learnt so much from you indeed. Wade Goodwin, The FAIR Digest, South Africa

This has to be one of the most intelligent conversations I've ever heard. Most everyone knows who say "Trump" is, but ask some people on the streets if they've ever heard of 'Ralph Nader' or 'Noam Chomsky', and quite possibly no one will know either of them. "Stay nice & DUMB, 'Merica."

Thank-You so much Ralph for interviewing Noam! Two wise men to whom we must listen! We can change to become a wonderful country! I dare to dream that one day soon all workers will own stock in the companies they work for, instead of the (sorry) filthy rich owning and running corporations.

Dear Workplace Democracy, Professor Noam Chomski, Mr. Ralph Nader, Makes me wonder why we haven't implemented a who's who in a democractic workplace agenda long before? I'm aware of what Mr. Richard Wolff and others are trying to do in returning america as a true democracy at every level. It's high time to record every utterance in business and government even taking it down to the peoples level (I don't mean it in that we are the lowest form but have the ability make recorded history for future prosperity) to show people not only here but all peoples from all countries I consider a kind neighbor to know also what was done here to restore democracy from a-z. We need to record every decision made, who made it, what the outcomes are, why, if it turns out to be a covert operation our government for the people, by the people and with the people can implement an immediate restoration of true democracy of said government under our constitution. Bring the perpetrators to justice stripping them down to barely being a citizen of sorts who can restore their rights by working showing the government owned live feed news (areas similar will be democratized by the people!) what they are doing to restore themselves to be a full citizen. We need to not allow monied individuals and corporations to get so big to break up and return monies to anyone that could benefit from very low incomes. I reckon this is inline to Roosevelts plan but make it stick forever. I really like what Mr. Franklin D. Roosevelt did. The people have to put me in as president so I can prove with proper authority to restore our rights to no cost homeopathy and structured national health program, etc., keep in mind Dr. Edward Howells work in raw enzymes to restore health and a slender body, I've lost 45lbs so far since 12/18., free schooling. You know we need a one world goverment on the same page. I really think we can proceed as normal without a dime! Just think about it. In general, as people allow new world government to basically enrich us all and us them to maintain peace and prosperity with direct checks and balances as we allow all forms of governments to work together towards a common mutual goal. We with more time on our hands could visit in a way most of us never got the chance meaning the world over. Militaries are fine for discipline and assistance only, no wars are ever to be created but resolved peaceably. Simple guidelines to follow with hiccups smoothed out as we go. Think fairness and pay it forward as standard practice. Thank you. Sincerely, Don Suiters 1229 N Saturn Ave Clearwater FL 33755-3663 USA

Imagine if these two guys had been talking, communication and working together for the past 20 years or more. The problem with the Left is that we have these heroes that we listen to, buy books by, go see movies about and generally pick up their believes, and even often stop looking for our own opinions and adopt theirs ... and nothing ever comes from the Left any more that matters or brings any change. These guys may agree, disagree, like or even hate each other, but they never peer review each other, or work together - they merely sell books and soak up their celebrity and feel good about the values they say they espouse even though nothing is likely to come from it. That is my problem with a lot of people we on the Left call intellectuals or social critics. Meanwhile there is less democracy, and less representation of the people than there has even been before, and when someone shows signs of doing so they face reactions from the people who own the country.

For what it's worth, they have worked together. Additionally, the first time they met was in the back of a paddy wagon in the early 60's during a Vietnam War protest. I suggest you do a little more research on what they do with their "celebrity" status. They aren't here to lead the revolution, they provide factual historical information for the rest of us to do it. They do a ton of actual work, not merely KZread criticism.

It didn't start out that way. I grew up reading Ms., voraciously, and it was all egalitarian in the early years. By the late 80s, it was all bland and watered down and corporate looking. Yuk. I stopped reading at that point.
