Sunil Dutt had also saved Nargis from a fire on a movie set while risking his own life. His devotion towards Nargis amazed her. These are her own words. Nargis said that "Sunil's shoulders were always there for me to cry on because I knew his garments would absorb my tears". A few months before her death Nargis would always tell her friends(like Simi garewal) as to how lucky she was to be loved by Sunil and to have married him. 💖 also after reading about her husband Sunil dutt ji and watching his movies...I fell in love with him too.. All of you do not understand a very simple thing: you should not approach people of art with your own standards. In order to create, an artist needs emotions, inspiration, love. Just look at their creations. They came into this world for this, and not to be faithful or unfaithful to their wife/husband. You don't know anything about the power of such love as people of art experience. When Nargis left Raj, he died. I didn't know this story when I watched the movie “Dil hi to hai” but I saw that he was dead. I looked and did not understand why a living person is actually dead? It wasn't until 1964 that he was able to pour his heart out in the film Sangam, where Gopal is Raj Kapoor, Radha is Nargis and Sundar is Sunil Dutt. And Radha - Gopal are an eternal couple This is how he saw this story and told the whole world about it. How can we judge an artist? Raj Kapoor is the greatest master and we need to love him because he gave us the joy of his creativity, his genius!

Read somewhere that Raj Kapoor was attracted to most of his heroines but was in love with Nargis. When Hema was launched with him in her first film, her mother stayed on the sets to ensure that Raj didn’t make a move on her young daughter. He made great films but he had a great passion for women too.

True that. His passion for women' presence can also be seen in his movies as well which he has directed himself. Other than this, he tried his best to expose women's body as much as possible in his movies. And this reveals the fact that from an average looking guy to good looking guy, nobody is loyal in the real sense. They think it's their right to get attracted to as many women as they can.

And rightly so...however flawed he may have been, Raj Kapoor was the doyen of the industry at the time.Not many would've wanted to step on his toes...Plus, Sunil Dutt was known to be amongst those actors who displayed dignity and maturity at all times without indulging in schoolboy behaviour like holding grudges and getting into petty squabbles with industry peers

I don't think so. I think they both were in love.. but he was a married man with children, there were complications. I think there is truth to the story that they did want to get married but Prem Nath (Raj Kapoor's brother-in-law) threatened them. This is what I had heard since childhood.
