I love how she is referring to Geeta Bali's children with Shammi Kapoor as "my son" and "my daughter". Geeta Bali must have been really proud in Heaven knowing her children would be raised well.

What kind of a woman are you looking for, somebody passive, and just does whatever told by her husband, without any input from her perspective, or not have mind of her own. I don’t get this Indian mentality, we do not live in the dark ages of good old days, it’s 21st century and women and men are equal rights and should be expected to speak their minds.

Pure soul and never found words for this woman's greatness. Too many things to learn from such kinds of people. Hats off to her!!!

Huge Thanks to Etimes for getting such a gem of person in front of the world. I am just 30 years of age & I stumbled upon this interview by fluke. Have literally cried while listening to her for the entire interview. It was cathartic. Such people were born only in the past generations. Our generation needs to learn so much from them. They were blessed with high EQ and patience and grace and true will power in every way. Supreme level of human being she is. Truly truly a Woman of perfect balance of Kindness, grace, resilience, humility... I really don't have words to express. So grateful I stumbled upon this interview. What a great interview. So dignified, spiritual, pure and regal. The respect for her husband, his family and his first wife is so wonderful. Kanchan was 4 years my senior in college and she too resonated this pure culture.

Always wondered how come a royal family princess of Bhavnagar married a married man and father of two …but having seen this amazing interview of Neela Devi , I can say that Krishna Raj Kapoor indeed made the right choice in asking the two to marry …the way she talks about her as the bahu, naive wife with less expectations, Randhir wedding - Prithviraj Kapoor dancing in peak fever, her own narration of a female friend coming home, her bond with her kids - it just touched a cord in me and I believe made me a better person 😍… some ppl are so so transparent and nice . Reminds me of the interview of SIMI Garewal and Waheeda Rehman ❤ So genuine these ppl are 😍

Yes...Neilaba is an amazing lady...never showing her back in performing her duties even now at a ripe age of 82 years even if her health does not permit at times..i always pray to Babaji to look after her..

She is a pure gem ! Shamim kapoor was so lucky to find that kind of love ! The love and sacrifices she have done without even showing them is commendable ! Shammi G asked him to please return and have Neela G serve us as we are his guests.... Wow, it changed me as a person, such humility ❤❤

So gracious, so unselfish and generous… reminds me of my Mother’s generation..it’s such a pity that we Hindus have lost this grace with this modern age.

Shammiji was Prince on Screen but Neeladevi is Princess in real life. Shammiji was the most underrated actor. Naseeruddin Shah considers him as a great actor.
