This is such a wonderful & mature interview! If I look at interviews conducted back in 80, they were so meaningful and classy. These days, a lot (not all) are just useless. At 5:04, Rajan Nanda talks about 3 advices that Raj Kumar gave him which I feel is are so important to be sucessful. Commenting so that I can play back right at 5:04 again everytime when I want to hear it !

I usually had this impression about Ms Ritu, that she first of all was blue blooded, privileged, a successful entrepreneur and so maybe a little shrewd, and last but not the least stary. But the fact that even Karan Thapar could not cast any gunshots from her talk, simply crashed all my notions about Ritu apart. I'm so happy I watched this interview. She's more like Raj Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor and any working Kapoor for that matter. So compassionate, gharelu, lovely and not to miss both modest and honest. Loved her

Ritu Nanda is so beautiful! And her blushing is so adorable, she seems to be a sweet and innocent person.

R.I.P means Rest in Peace - this is a Judeo-Christian blessing, RIP is engraved on the gravestones of Christians. In Christianity, this short epitaph signifies wishing eternal rest and peace to someone who has died. Christians bury the dead ones and the soul rests in peace in that grave for eternity until the judgment day arrives. On the Judgment day, the Lord will decide who goes where- Heaven or Hell. They believe that on the Judgment day the dead will rise again. Until that time, the soul has to suffer and suffocate inside that coffin. Now, here begins the problem. Hinduism does not have any concept such as that of rising of dead ones. Hinduism believes in reincarnation. It says that the cycle of birth and death are governed by the Karma of individuals. The deceased individual would take another birth based upon the Karma of his previous life. His/her soul starts searching for another body. So there is no rest and hence, the concept of RIP is not valid in Hinduism. Hinduism believes in Moksha that is liberation- Liberation from the endless cycles of birth and death. That’s why instead of using RIP we should say, “Om Shanti” or “Aatma Ko Sadgati Prapt Ho (May Soul attain Moksha)”. Sadgati means salvation or liberation. We always pray that may the soul get liberated from the cycle of life and death. In fact, the concept of RIP would remotely come close to the concept of Preta (Evil, hungry ghosts) which is basically a curse in the Hindu way of life. An individual after leaving his/her body becomes Preta. When the soul gets locked into a standstill in Earth’s atmosphere it becomes Preta for eternity. It turns evil. It starts creating problems for others; creating the problems for other becomes its only purpose. Preta Aatma (soul) tries to pursue its near and dear ones to leave their living bodies and join him/her as Preta Aatma. Its sole focus is always on to increase community of Preta Aatma. That’s why in Hindu way of life there is a concept of Terahvin (13 days). For 13 days family members of deceased persuade the Pretas every day with various invocations and offerings requesting them to leave this earth and move on to their next destination which could be either incarnation or salvation (moksha). We don’t allow them to remain as Preta because it is a curse.

While watching the Interview of respected Mr. Rajan Nanda n Mrs. Ritu Nanda I recall my services at Escorts Ltd Faridabad n Niky Tasha, New Delhi. I was very much comfortable in Escorts and thereafter Niky Tasha as both Mr. n Mrs. Nanda were so concerned about their employees. Their salaries, comforts, their health problems, their incentives, gifts, get togethers n much much more. I want to mention one thing more .. when I was working in Niky Tasha in 1982 I was expecting n it was around 6th month of my pregnancy. Mrs. Nanda saw me working n instructed the personal department to change my seat saying "give her bigger space as she is growing". Everyone was surprised on this. This is one thing but there are many many more concerns which were remarkable. I can never forget these personalities in my life. I wish Mrs. Nanda with a long and healthy life 🌹 🌹🌹🌹

My God !she is as beautiful from inside as she is outside. Mr Nanda is so lucky and blessed to have such a loving wife. She 's oozing charm, so cheerful, innocent and humble. Rituji has endeared herself with her mannerisms. She is everyone's role model of a good daughter, dutiful n dedicated bahu, a loving SaaS, an affectionate sil and aunt. She is worth emulating! The credit goes to her mother , the great Krishn Raj Kapoor!

The first time I saw her in 1994 on TV Asia in London. OMG, I was literally gone crazy. She was so beautiful from both the sides with a dashing personality. Intelligent, articulate, cultured, sophisticated, cheerful and above all so humble. May be the qualities of her stature have endeared Ritu ji to Mr. Nanda and he became beloved and admirer of this phenomenol lady. I think her husband was very lucky and blessed to have such a loving and caring wife. A wonderful couple. May their soul rest in peace. 13 January 2024 Dublin, Ireland 🇮🇪

Rita Kapoor was in my college, St. Xavier. I saw her in library, she was 17-18 and was very very pretty, looking very much much slimmer, looking like Kareena Kapoor or Karishma Kapoor. Extraordinarily pretty. May her soul rest in peace.

If I rightly remember, Rituji got married in 1964. Four grooms, all friends of Rajenji Nanda, arrived, covered with sehra on face, made Raj Kapoorji, difficult to reconnise, who is real groom..
