My pond is about the size of 3 big swimming pools, i put 2 channel cats in, along with 50-60 bluegill, and 2 largemouth. My goal is to enjoy my small creek fed farm pond and have pet fish that I could eat if ever TSHTF…I named my catfish Tom and Sylvester, they come up to eat pellets with all the rest. It’s so amazing

@4u2appreci8 catfish nest in hallow logs or holes in the bank. most ponds don't have this you can build catfish nest houses for your pond

my channel catfish are 15 /25 lbs in my pond

If you have a high amount of bream and crayfish do you still have to feed them as much

unless you're mulching and feeding them the bream and crayfish... yes.

@themasterbater6996 as long as you treat your water with water conditioner or you can get water from where you get them

Danger Close those texas feeder are sun powered. They run around 500 bucks

I had one for about 2 years in a fish tank. Let him go in a pond the other day. Cool pet

Its my understanding that catfish that are feed, aka farm raised have higher lvs off chemicals. Feed them what they eat in the wild small fish for a safer food.

we have a Container thats 110 Gallons and we want to raise catfish can you tell me how to do this and we live in florida thanks
