This is exactly how I remember my childhood days (nights). I used to sleep with this beautiful and comforting sound. It gave me a safety feeling of being inside my family’s home, with my parents and siblings, while I fell asleep with the sound of a torrential rain falling on the zinc roof. I love rain and thunder.

Pain is your oldest friend, was there for your first breath, and on your last as well. Then sprinkle it everywhere inbetween just so you know it's still there for you. Cold turkey isn't as delicious as it sounds. Heroin has a loving warm touch when she's still holding you, but when you let her go, all you have to feel now is the cold bitter bear hug of death. Holding on ever so tight, if you had any fight left you'd try to end it yourself.... You ever had your hair hurt? Then you know how I feel right now. Been awake for 14 days in constant pain and discomfort. My record is 22 days. That one hurt bad. PAIN with me till the end. Fuck I hate the prick. .. but love the taste of a good shot ... but I couldn't hit to save my life. I've made my bed and I will lay in it feeling the worst feeling, and the best at thesame time, because I'm laying in bed with my love of my life as well. As we both are dragged through hell... see you on the other side

This beautiful video has become my go-to safe place when I’m having a panic attack. I’ve got a little lower back massager that I put on, roll on some lavender oil and I imagine I’m sitting on the end of that bed in this lovely room. I allow the anxiety to move through me, reminding myself that I’m safe, and It does the trick every time. There’s something about this room that’s so inviting and soothing and I love how cleansing the rain sounds. You can almost smell it.

Perfection. The first time I rode an overnight train, it was in an old Soviet-style train car in Russia. I was in a top bunk, facing a window, and I got some of the best sleep of my life. Gently rocked by the train.... it was incredible. This video really brings it back !!

The girl is an archaeologist who was assigned to do some research about a new site in the middle of nowhere. She was actually work with her team, but because she's the junior she was asked to go to the site earlier. (Un)fortunately, the rest of the team was stuck in stormy rain on their way to the site which made them spend the night at a rusty motel, while the girl was alone in her van reading journals about excavation, eating instant ramen, and drinking hot cocoa. The rain at the site was surprisingly calming, with no sign of storm. The young archaeologist finally fell asleep in the cocoon of warm knitted blanket her grandma gave her.

Everyone goes through tough times, and sometimes, nighttime can be the hardest time to face worries and sadness. However, remember that nighttime is also a time to relax and recharge for tomorrow. Close the curtains to your worries and let sleep strengthen your soul. You deserve a good night's sleep, and I believe tomorrow will bring new opportunities. Relax and sleep well; you've done great.
