This 70CW runs quite well and moves at a decent rate. I like that it kicks back the arm more than half way. I would just sit and watch for hours wanting to get up there and play with it. I did not notice a defuser of any kind to break up one stream or the other. It is a pretty design. thank you for sharing this video.

I like the impact/movement rate of this sprinkler. No this model doesn't have any kind of break up pin, it could use a spreader nozzle on the rear instead of a regular nozzle.

The movement speed is ideal. Great coverage!! Thanks for sharing!

Thank you! Yes it's great to have as the summer could be a dry one again.

Has it gotten cold in your area? We had a Winter storm warning with 7 inches of snow but now it's already almost melted. The end of the week will be in the 60s.. With Rain! Your trees are loving the water from the big rainbird!

It hasn't been too bad, quite a bit of rain though, but at least some nice days in between, it's been unusually calm, I hope it doesn't make a turn for the worse lol. There was one day where there was a little snow a week and a half ago, temps since then have been mild between 40 and 50F. Yes the trees loved it, this was their last irrigation before the drought ended.

Thank you! It's a well used impact with a lot of life still left in it.

Nice 70CW. It's got good range and close in coverage. You know how a 81 is basically a 80E with a spreader nozzle for drive and a rear range? I wonder if a 85E or HD would work in a 81's casing.. Its the same head basically. You could theoretically make a 81's internal head assembly a riser mount with the correct bearing and sleeve. Thanks for sharing! My 70CW's double tap when i use the 1/4" drive nozzle.

Thanks! This one works quite well, it is a little worn. I'm not sure if a 85E or EHD would work in the 81 casing, it may be possible to adapt.
