Arati Ankalikar is a renowned vocalist from India. She trained under the guidance of the Late Pandit Vasantrao Kulkarni of the Agra Gwalior gharana, and Kishori Amonkar of the Jaipur Atrauli gharana. Ankalikar is endowed with a rich, resonant voice and her performances are marked by an excellent command over both the rhythm and the melody. She stood first in the All India Radio competition in 1983 and 1984, and is a recipient of the Mayor Award, Pandit Kumar Gandharva Sanman, Pandit Jasraj Award and the National Award for best female playback singer for the film Samhita. Ankalikar has performed in numerous prestigious events in India and abroad.
Arati Ankalikar’s vocal rendition left the audience mesmerized. Her first rendition was a Khayal on Raga Jog Kauns at the 5th edition of the Bengal Classical Music Festival 2016. Then she sang a Thumri, sajanwa kaise mein aau torey paas, on Misra Khamaj. Rohit Majumder was on tabla with the singer.

The Foundation introduced the Classical Music Festival back in 2012.
