I have spent 6 full years studying Rag Bhairavi with my teacher Uwe Neumann, who graduated from a University in North India with a masters degree in sitar. It is wonderful to hear this Rag sung with such devotion and feeling. Thank you to all the musicians.

I live in London. I first heard this on a sunny morning last year when the summer had been hot. She is waiting for God to arrive. Her voice was loud in the silence. It transported me deeper into the everlasting moment and it was as if her prayer was being answered. The birds were listening quietly in the garden and it was as if God was walking through it. It feels we are the performer as we are one with every musician when they express all the waves of divine sweetness. All generations are here in a very special harmony where depth meets lightness. Its feels like the listeners is the best part of ourself as if the Prince of the elephants, in the cave of our heart, wakes up with a smile saying "I always have been here, I am with you". It feels like the King of the white cobras unfolds and play the Rainbow's melody. And when all this disappears in the bag of our memory, only gratitude remains.

The meaning of this Bhajan(A prayer to God) is nicely explained by Mr Rahul Pandey and others lovely and devotional feelings. I am in London now but the we all become global when we listen to this type of worship in music. It's a God gift. Didi(sister) pl keep it up.

Today being George Harrison's birthday, I was exploring his Indian-influenced music. I came across Anoushka Shankar, which led me to Anuja Kamat, which led me to this mix of Nina Burmi sings Thumri. Very different than what I am used to, but I am enthralled and so at peace listening to it. I'm sitting here paying bills - we all know how stressful that can be - and I am so relaxed! I'm anxious to explore the many types of raga. So exciting.

She is amazing and her voice, hand movements, invite all tensions within to transform into joy. She is a wonderful healing presence.

I've become absolutely obsessed with raga lately, and this is so beautiful, hypnotic even. I'd give anything to be able to sing like that.

No one can reach this kind of music without practice.Most tuff kind of music .That's Indian classical form of music.She, Koushiki Chakroborty, daughter of Ajay Chakroborty is one of the best clasiccal singers of present.Love her songs.Im dumb struck.I also learn classical but I am just a beginner

This composition is a fine example of the hypnotic trance of devotion that Raag Bhairavi evokes. Paromita Mujherji ji on the harmonium makes one fall in love with this instrument that is rarely given an importance beyond a basic accompaniment to the vocals and other instruments. And Kaushiki's voice in this bhajan stirs all kinds of emotions that you don't even know to be lurking in your soul. Could listen to this any number of times 💗💗💗

I cant see Bhagawan on the stage but definitely he was there in the voice. Well done & very well presented. All the accompanists did their jobs very well but the lady on the Harmonium -no words to express. So appealing!

Music has the power to impact every molecule of our body...that's how we reacted n responds to different sounds..from horror to soothing... This music form Rag bhairabi has the power to cure cold,cough,fever..it affect the mind n hormonal flows in such a way if u listen to it for 50-60 mins... Previously music therapy is used to cure many diseases... different RAGAS are used... Tears rolls down from ur eyes because it's activating ur Muladhar chakra...that stuck energy is slowing getting it's passage n movement...

Raga Bhairabi is one of my favourite ragas, and Kaushiki Chakrabarty's performance is just mesmerizing.

That was so beautiful it made me cry
