What a SUPERB video, viperconcept. There are really not many Channels that are willing to share this kind of knowledge on how to be a better driver, and you are doing it ALL the time - and I therefore applaud you for doing that. Ever since joining KZread about 1 and a half years ago, my driving has probably improved 2 to 3 times what it used to be, thanks to drivers like you that are willing to impart their knowledge on to others. BLOODY WELL DONE, VIPERCONCEPT!!! ; )

11:00 A rare sight of viperconcept drifting on purpose. I'd say another useful tip would be to try to induce a few spins on purpose and trying to correct them. Theory is important, but reflex is "importanter" and there is no other way to learn reflexes than to practice.

This is how I react when I'm about to spin out with ciunter-steer in Forza 7's sim steering: Car's tail gets a little happy and swings around, I apply ciunter-steer but it makes it even more tail happy, so I gently brake to get it back on track, if that doesn't work then floor the brakes as "emergency brakes" and get back to the race while looking out for incoming racers.

Great vid, as always. Love the way you put things together with some precise titles instead of lots of useless talking. But you forgot the basic key (at least if you're using a decent wheel): listen to the force feedback. Many times is not necessary to countersteer, just straightening the front wheels can be enough. Try to push the steering wheel gently into the turns with the outer hand and feel the car's reactions, instead of fighting it rigidly or, even worst, pulling with the inner hand. Many will get surprised of how smoothly an oversteer can almost correct itself... ;) Keep the good work coming.

Hello Viper! I got a guestion. When I'm racing on Project Cars 2 for the PS4, some players are using the same type of car that I'm using for example GT3 Skyline, and they are much faster than me. I assume they increase the gear ratio more towards acceleration (I experimented with that) but they are still much faster. What setups should I focus on besides gear ratio and tires? Thank you for all of your tutorial videos and keep up the good racing.

another way to save the spin is to lock the tyres hard enough for your car to face the direction you want, but it will have to be controlled, the harder you lock the tires the more likely your car will face the direction you started spinning from. But still try not to lock the tyres because of tyre wear, but if you are in the spinning process it most probably is safer for your race to lock the tyres then go to the pits and change them than if you wait for the spin to be over which most probably will take longer.
