the old games most better. i dont understand it.. now we have 2024 and 2025 is coming and other is better! all racing games or most haven´t damage system! is is sooooo bad. new games coming also didnt have damage system. and the new engine was so good to use it. i am so disapointed about the gaming industry.

Were is beam NG drive?
Hey viper. Uh I don't know what much do i have to say but it's like i have learned and enjoyed racing videos you made and i growed with them. I have been watching you for the past 6 7 years and i enjoyed everytime you uploaded a video. Hope you have a very good life ahead and i wish you all the best for it. Kinda heartbreaking that this was the final one but who knows maybe one day you will return with all the ratings and your perspectives on the review of a racing game. ❤thank you viperconcept.
You've missed a few games like: EA F1 Championship Season 2000 and F1 Racing Championship. I found F1 06 to be worse than F1 05 due to its over-reliance on leaving oil on track every time a car retired which ruins a lot of races. There are weird things happening with the graphics in some of the games, were you emulating them? Formula One 05 is the best one with Grand Prix Challenge (which you also didn't show) coming in 2nd.
Asseto Corsa should have been 2nd, BeamNG Drive is a sandbox, not a racing game, and though I’m not a fan of AC, even without it on this list I could name at least 5 other games that should have been in the place of BeamNG Drive…

For some reason I actually find RWD cars easier to drive as a beginner. Understeer is something I can't handle for some reason.

and mistake number zero is all people drive on their own, rather than hire a driver to drive for them.
late brake is like drugs, you know it will ruin you, but still take it.

BeamNG's graphics have also gotten a bit better in the past 3 years, because of the many updates the developers continue to put into the game to this day. It is incredible what a small indie firm can accomplish with enough time, passion, and effort! This is why of all of my games on steam, I have the most hours in BeamNG.
Race driver grid also has a cool car damage system
Driveclub always gets it. I think it's a pretty realistic sim but you MUST turn off ALL assists. I figured this out after a long time of playing it in VR- there is a basic menu for assists and then you must go deeper into the settings to find more assists you can turn off. After you turn off all assists it's definitely is a legit sim. Sadly, I don't think many ever went that deep into the settings so it gets remembered as more arcade-like.

I don't care if these racing games were disappointing. I don't care if they didn't satisfy all the hype they created.
Tried all kinds of views on racing sims that offer the option. But I keep going back to Bumper View. That's how I played racing games as a kid in the Arcades. Games such as Hard Driven, Daytona USA, and Rigid Racer, to name a few. I'm going to be 50 next year! Thanks for this!!!

For me In a racing game, sounds are more important than the graphics

I'm surprised F-Zero GX wasn't on this list considering how insanely hard that game is to master.
I think you forgot one more thing on why you should avoid braking late: getting out of the track. If you brake late, you’ll get out of the track and yeah.

Project cars was a dissapointment in the realisim department, but man is it a phenomenal game to play. It’s like grid but better in every way. I would totally recommend project cars 4 to anybody who’s looking for a casual racing game.
