Ah man, would have liked to meet you at parkrun. I too was at a wedding. Getting lapped by Mohammed is one of the quintessential Leicester running experiences.

Oh man! Ben the “Parkrun King” has been dethroned! 😂 15:16! That is blazing fast! I ran a sub 25’ 5K pb yesterday, so your videos are a real help; I look forward to them!

I’d certainly be up for a round 2. Proper warmup and a few less pints the night before and i reckon I’d be able to keep up for at least 3/4 kms 😂

That guy looked ridiculously fast. I run about a minute per km slower than him, but it's improving. I hope to some day beat the 20 minute mark.

Sub 20 is my dream. 21.30 atm so need to keep pushing.

Mo has come onto the local scene since winning Leicester half last year and has won a few of our local league races (I was 3rd behind him recently). You should check out watermead parkrun if you are back up this way, alot faster.

Ben thank you for your positive encouragement of participation in parkrun. I laugh when I see other running club events call 5K a "funrun". For high volume runners, yes it would be. For many 5K is a challenge but fun. My home parkrun record was reset last week at 15:01. I'm an older mid pack plodder and I love parkrun. So many inspirational stories come out of parkrun Australia as I'm sure it does from other countries too. Thank you for your time and efforts in putting up inspirational videos. 👍👍

The winner literally looked effortless. Like he had a few more gears to go through . Ridiculous levels

Great video again Ben! Hungover parkruns are always more enjoyable parkruns glad to hear you had 4 pints beforehand! Just broke my 5k pb today 16:39 after breaking it 16:47 on Saturday big summer training now. Best of luck for the ASICS 10k!!

I would love a top 10 one day. I have came 11th at my local parkrun so fingers crossed. Came 3rd in my age category too which makes me super proud. Just love parkrun and the friendly atmosphere too. Amazing vibes.

You don't need to be juiced to run low 15s, some even break 15 in highschool, elites are probably all juiced tho but 15:x is anything but elite so it's unreasonable to say a male adult with the adequate distance runner physique is geared just because of that

51 - 16 = 35. Not 15 to 20. Just saying. ;)
