I think most of the time it has to do with proper water drainage off the streets when there is heavy rain. Flat curbs and approaches would allow all the water rushing down the street to run into your drive and possibly garage, depending of course on your slope and terrain, etc. I had approached our HOA about cutting mine down as my garage and drive sit higher than the street but they weren’t going for it 🙄

Have you found any other solutions other than constantly laying the ramps down? I was looking at Bridgitt but I don't have a curved gutter like they are designed for. My driveway is similar to yours with an instant right angle drop but I scrape on the incline up and not the gutter. I can't be expected to lay ramps down every time I get home

@@JacBeQuic i figured, your car looks like youd have to come from parallel to the road and just drive on the grass if you dont want to keep bringing out those ramps. but thats that lowlife, looks great im not a fan of yellow mines white but your car looks good, same with the zr1 bumper looks good actually i was skeptical my self.

Get a drive way builder. All that cash you spent on them ramps. you could have added some cement. or just go back to a stockz bumper with a splitter. I have c7z also I wouldn’t do that to pull it out that Ludacris lol.

I have the same problem whit my 2004 ford cobra

What about driveways are the steep the opposite way. My driveway is steep by where the garage opens and so when I’m pulling out it scraps hitting top of my driveway

Exactly same for me.. Plus it's way way way way narrower in UK and now I've screwed my carbon fibre lip 😡. Did you find anything less of a process 🤣

@@leoyde I've found that backing in instead of pulling in avoids the scrape getting in and out of the driveway

First time viewer and a little late but you could probably get like a little gorilla cart or something to carry all the ramp pieces in one trip

Th car is not lowered.. I’m not sure what the stock height is.

It’s all about the angles….you can’t try it straight on Cut as wide as you can and hug one side to the grass coming out

The car is not lowered at all… that’s factory height… I thought about airbags but I ended up selling the car.

I live in the hood and I just ended up just making a good enough ramp. I should have added a PVC pipe so water could flow through though.
