Been a while since I've been out, and what a lucky day we had (except for the late return). Caught it at Digger's Rest, in the fog as Gisborne, Taradale Viaduct (with the audio of cars chasing!), Elphinstone and Harcourt on the down and Porcupine Hill and Taradale on the up.
Rod Giri was the driver on the down, and he and 711's whistle are a perfect match!
Just a heads up for those who know me and my channel, I've had Parkinson's Disease for some time now and it is becoming more difficult to do a day's filming. I ain't over yet, but you will notice less chasing, and me concentrating on archival footage of which I have heaps yet to post.
