The story about the mother barging into a sleeping person's room astounds me. How can the mother be THAT clueless? When I started working overnights, my mother (who works from home) did everything she could to keep the house quiet for me. Even when guests were around, she politely informed them of my schedule. Can't thank that woman enough.

I'm a shift worker, so my schedule is VERY haphazard. My mother and sister are 99% of the time great about it. My father, the only other shift worker in the house is AWFUL. Wakes me up on purpose, makes a cacophony, all that. You can guarantee that if I did that while HE was sleeping, I'd get my head bitten off. 🙄

The 2nd place I lived after I left home (well 3rd if you count a few months in student dorm) there was a guy who did night shifts, the guy parked his cheap ass motorbike at the back of the house right outside my bedroom window and leave around between 10pm-midnight depending on his shift and return around 6 or 7am each day so I couldn't sleep before X time and was always woken at Y time, and on top of that on his days off he put his tv or music so loud it would wake me and he would laugh at me and just say that I was unemployed so had had no right to complain as I can sleep when I want, but no matter what time of day if I so much as made a noise he would come out of his room and shout abuse at me for being "loud" I couldn't even open my door without him complaining then I got a job and I was doing shift work and on top of what he did before I told him I was doing shift work and could he be quieter, his words "its not my fault you don't work a normal 9-5 job, why should my life be impacted, you should move out"

12:18 That’s an actual business plan called the “Dilbert Principle”. It’s an extreme variation of the Peter Principle which is basically: You have two employees up for a promotion, one that is an asset to that current position and one that is kind of meh. You promote the meh one because it will cost more to replace the asset. The Dilbert Principle is the same situation, but you move the meh employee to management because that is where they can do the least amount of damage to a company and will be watched by their supervisors.

Petallic's story (and lucyken's reply) remind me of a third-degree uncle or something that I had, and his son. This was at the end of their stay of a few days at our home (we have a folding couch-thing in our living room, I forgot what that's called). That morning, they _had a plane to catch_ and the airport is maybe 45min drive away with normal traffic. Before taking my sister to work she woke them, as they had to leave in less than a couple hours if they wanted to make it. They hadn't even begun packing their mess the day before, something we always do to have time to double-check. Mom urged my uncle and cousin to sluggishly dragged their asses up, while she and my sister ate breakfast and left. When she returned both were smoking on the balcony, breakfast table was as she'd left and their stuff was still all over the place. She prodded and argued and egged them on, and even started packing things till they got a move on. Naturally they still weren't finished half an hour before the time, and my mom was going insane with quite a bit of rage. Not just the usual stress of potentially missing a flight, but also how casual those two were about the whole situation. Oh man, that airline story was downright depressing though... Guy breaks labor laws and treats workers like garbage, gets promoted instead of having his sadistic ass banned from ever approaching a management job.

Agreed, it makes me want to never listen to another video of rslash to avoid hearing it again.

I'm a dentist , I've done countless such bite reduction of crowns and fillings , I hope I never meet a Karen like that , Some can't comprehend the reduction and try to force bite the new crown and call it a high point , I just make sure with the articulating paper and send them off telling them to come back if any problems , Nobody usually returns.

I had the same problem with my mum. I have an incurable life threatening illness, I am in pain all the time. Pain wears you out mnetally aswell as physically, but mum thinks I am lazy, even thought I got this illness when I was 15, 10+ years from this story and when I feel half way decent I want to go out and do house work. Not doing anything laying in bed is boring. She would wake me up any time she got up early and get me to do some inane "house work" even if I am doubled over in pain. Finally it all blew up when I told her to stop, of course she was not in the wrong. I needed someone to vent to and after talking to my younger sister, she told my mum how I felt, and it hit mum hard. What I dont like is it takes some people someone else to tell them the issue before they change. Finally she lets me sleep.

Isn’t that how principles, superintendents, and whatever job that people who can’t teach but have tenor or whatever get because they can’t teach for some reason.

Instead of being a gown woman she is willing to risk getting a infection in the tooth. That will cost more money and possibly ruin her other “precious” teeth. Without insurance is worst: Normal crowning: $800-$1,700 (witch she has to pay twice now) Non emergency infection: $75-$1,600 (depending on tooth) Emergency infection: $2,000+ (cause they might have to do other things now)
