r/Maliciouscompliance "IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, QUIT!" "lol ok, bye!"

r/Maliciouscompliance We've all had terrible bosses, right? The terrible boss in today's video goes off on a total power trip and shouts at OP to quit if he doesn't like the job. So... he quits! Well, it turns out that OP is a pretty critical member of the team, so the boss immediately does a 180 and begs for OP to come back! BootyHole sometimes pride is good, but it always comes to a point where it really needs to be kept in check. Beaming because y know you're giving constant 100%s in doing your work or managed to, say, make it into Harvard Law despite only missing a single tiny point? Sure thing, feel free to pat yourself on the back for it. But using those accomplishments and such to throw your weight around, or otherwise ignore thinking first before acting? Well, have fun when that blows up in your face.

Technically, they might be correct. I don't know the science behind how the type of fuel can affect the lifespan of a car engine, so I'll just assume that they're right. Realistically, anything that runs on petrol or diesel might get decommissioned in a not-too-distant future - unless you live in one of those countries who don't give a flip about enforcing any environmental bills and whose government thinks that the carbon dioxide's effect on the climate is a hoax.

There are actually differences in the videos though. The robot voice doesn't bother me that much, and there's channels that go through the same effort of editing as r/slash. They just don't narrate. Maybe they don't like the sound of their voice, or don't have access to a decent microphone (and don't even pretend like bad voice audio wouldn't get someone nothing but absolute shit), or don't have a quiet place to record. Hell, all three at once for a lot of them. But I'm still entertained by the audiobook version of Reddit, and they make sure the robot can say the words right, there's no random audio mess ups, and they upload regularly. Reddit stories are already some of the most low effort videos, the robot voice is just another way of doing it. 🤷 Edit: before I get "but the bad ones!" Yes, the shitty videos are shitty. If you just crap out Microsoft Sam, it's always going to be bad. I know. You know. We all know which videos I'm talking about.

They also require photo ID, and to take down the ID#, AND have the person sign the bottom of their taken information. How are you going to be mad when you're going into a store asking for a service you literally can't get at any other major retailer, and they ask for your information? Like, the only other options you have are pawn shops and craigslist. Pawn shops ask for even more information, and craigslist will get you stolen and kept in a dungeon, why is the most easy option such an issue.

I got a short nice one for you all that the grocery store story reminded me of. I was working once at generic taco place with that bell logo. I started there with one of my best managers ever. Good lady, always worked hard. Took care of us and a month in wanted me as a manager. Well she left and 2 managers later I had one of my worsts. So my crew. They were mine even though we all worked on the same level. Where all great people, hard workers, and watch out for each other. We would work together to cover each other. But they are went behind me, I don't blame them for that. And staged a walk out. This left me and her working that morning. I had stayed up a bit later the night before then I should have, thinking it would be an easy day and I could leave a bit early. Well, she got one other person to come in, fine. I was working front register, which I normally did. And prep/kitchen. She was on the line making food. With the person that she called in on the drive thru. I'm working my butt off, really tired from being up too late. Then I hear the words from her. The words of great stupidity and idiocy, "Work harder or get out." Well, I wonder which one I did. What made it better is I went up to there the next day to turn in my uniforms, well rested and ready for a day of job hunting. She was there, by herself, with no one to help her. She offered me my job back. I stood there thinking for about 30 seconds and looked at her dead in the eyes and simply said, "No thanks." Then walks out. Good times. Good times.

I currently work at Papa Johns and yeah, we do get quite a few "colorful cast of customers" every now and then, some of which could be put into a story. For now, I'll talk about the one I got only a few days ago. A customer called and placed an order for pickup. She said she wanted to pay over the phone so she doesn't have to go inside. Understandably considering Covid-19. I told her that I could take it out to her once it's ready, especially since she's already in the parking lot of the place. Here's the thing though, we're not actually required to bring the food out to our customers as our doors were still open for people to come in and out of, and it was still during the dinner rush so I got pretty busy labeling boxes for orders, taking/completing orders for other customers, and restocking boxes. When I finally finished, the woman comes inside the place and asked if the order was ready, which it was (and no, I wasn't sure how long it was ready during busy time) and we promptly gave it to her and she begrudgingly took it and left. My co-workers were confused about why that was the case until I explained what happened. My supervisor laughed a bit from it.

First story: OP had 45 minutes to clean each room when they were fully staffed? That's insane! Mt wife and daughter used to clean a hotel as a team. It was also a high end, five star, resort with a world-wide reputation for extremely high standards for everything from décor to personal service to room cleanliness. My girls were responsible for keeping up those housekeeping standards for 19-25 rooms, depending on how many were occupied. It was rarely completely full because of the very high price of the rooms, but occasionally it was, like if there was a big to-do in town that attracted the high rollers. Plus, those rooms were on three different levels and there were no elevators. The hotel was 150 years old, and they hadn't been invented yet when the place was built, so they had to lug their equipment up and down the stairs. Their hours were the same, 9 am to 3 pm for the same reasons as OPs. Between cleaning the rooms to a high standard and hauling the carts up and down three levels, they got something like 15 minutes per room at the most. To have as much time as OP did is incredibly strange. Just for S&G, my other daughter worked as a chef in one of the hotel's restaurants. It was also a five-star joint on its own, separate from the hotel's ratings. Pretty fancy place. While I had three immediate family members working there, I always wanted to stay, even if for just one night. My wife said there were ways we could have done so for free. Sadly, it never happened. But all three of them have stories to tell, mostly about the entitled guests and their eccentricities.

Tnis is actually a good boss story. I worked in a grocery store. I was the best cashier. This is back when you literally punched in the prices. I was the fastest as I knew the prices and was quick entering them. I could ring up way more people and kept the lines short. Well, one day we were slow and the manager asked me to help stock the shelves. I say okay and actually liked moving around. So, I start staking baby food. Well, I didn't notice that they were stacked so the jars were actually sticking off the edge, very precariously. I put on one jar and created this cascade of crashing glass. The manager just came over and laughed and said, no more stocking for you.

I used to work in a supermarket, picking online shopping. It's a really stressful job, you typically start work at 3AM and everything you do is recorded by your scan gun. If you're too slow, or do things in a way they don't like, they'll pretty quickly be onto you. A lot of the time I had to literally run round the store in order to keep my pick rate up. I learned tricks to help me pack thing faster, which made the managers very happy, but when they figured out what I was doing, they expected me to stop, do it all properly, but somehow still manage to magically be just as fast. My boss 'had a word with me' in his office for being slow, despite being new still, and it was the lowest I'd felt in a long time. After some time, he left for reasons I don't know and we had a new manager. I hoped things would be better. Nah. In short, he was about as incompetent as anyone could be. At least before I was doing 5 days a week, he now expected me to do 6, 8, even 10 days in a row, because 'everyone is leaving.' That was exactly WHY everyone was leaving, btw. We were all fed up. I kid you not, I'd been there less than a year, and by the time I finally had enough, I was the last online picker there. Everyone else, gone. They had to get one of the cleaners to help pick, which wasn't fair on her. The last person to quit before me warned me that New Manager would try everything to make me stay, and he did. At first, he ignored my letter. Then over the phone, he tried to guilt trip me. Say how much they needed me, that it wasn't fair to quit at such short notice. I told him that I read my contract, and legally I had to give him a week's notice, which I was happy to do. After that, not my problem. Bye. I hope he finally realised that the reason he ended up with 0 picking staff was all his fault. People think they can walk all over me because I'm quiet and a bit anxious socially, but I stick up for myself if I feel like I'm being screwed over. You don't need to be loud or angry, just stand your ground.

As a resort housekeeper, I vibe with thie first story deeply. We have 2 bed, 2 bath, living room, & fully stocked kitchen (full size fridge, stove, dishwasher, small appliances, plates & cutlery, etc) suites that we have to clean in AT MAX in a 1.5hr. Before our new management company took over, workload was 4 rooms a day. Now its 5 rooms a day & I want to cry on holidays 😭 Fully stocked kitchens are the bane of my existence...
