Struggle put out a song last year called "the Good Die Young". The video reminds me of a throwback to this video. But it's like he made a 180° in his life. This Outlaw Shxt video was the first time I discovered him, roughly a decade ago. I had already been a lifelong fan of his grandpa, Waylon, and the original "Outlaw Shxt" song. So I was excited when I discovered this one. Then I scrolled down to the comment section and saw people saying that he had just got locked up, and was going to serve about 5 years. I was bummed. I thought it would take forever before he got out, but time seemed to had fast-forward for me, and I rediscovered him with Jelly Roll on the song "Fall in the Fall". I was shocked by how different he looked and sounded. Been following his work ever since. So "The Good Die Young" video was pretty cool from my perspective, with how it seemingly referenced this video, because I had witnessed that whole turnaround and transformation that he made in his life over the years.

Waylon Jennings is on the Mt Rushmore of outlaw country along with Willie Nelson, Kris Kristopherson, and the late great Johnny Cash.

Struggles daughter Brianna Harness did a cover of "Outlaw Shxt" Briannas voice is out of this world. It is not a exact cover, It is her life. I only saw it once but that is how I remember it.

"Outlaw Shxt" is a Waylon Jennings original song. Waylon had two versions of the song. I believe the first one was more upbeat and faster paced. Then, I think he did a second slower and sadder sounding version when he got older.. This remix is a remix of the slower version of that song. And Struggle's bar "And the feds sent a posse down like I ain't never seen" is a line from one of the verses in Waylon's version.
