Sure, because hypersonic missiles will negate the insurmountable advantage that the United States has, just like that, magically, virtually in every military field.

In a month, both in Iraq and Afghanistan, where in the first case they demolished Saddam's statue in Baghdad in three weeks and in the latter where they've put those ak-47 sandal users on the run in the mountains of Pakistan within a month of the invasion. Same happened in the first Gulf War and in the subsequent second invasion of Iraq.

@@yourewrong4090 lol you’re completely wrong. Yes they defeated saddam quick but that was just the beginning of the war. Once the shiia started fighting it was nothing but crying for the USA until this day soldiers have post traumatic stress and are committing suicide. Last I checked the USA left running Afghanistan and Iraq. Two Armine’s with very old Soviet weapons. They have never fought a country with modern weapons. Like we see now in Ukraine. Wtf are you telling I was in Iraq my self. Killing innocent civilians was the only thing usa did. They were so scared that they just shot random people.

See the whole point to living in the US is your free to build your own life, start a business and grow, the government isn't here to take care of you, so what they spend on military, it's not just unused money, it was budgeted, the American person is supposed to take care of your self,

If anyone, for a second doesn't believe the United States has developed hypersonic missile technology far beyond any other country, then you simply don't understand economics. The United States spends more on defense than the next nine nations COMBINED. The only reason the US hasn't invested more in hypersonic missiles is because there's no need to, the US's military capabilities so completely outclass all other nations' military capabilities that hypersonic missiles are of little consequence in any current military scenario. There is no nation, or combination of nations that can credibly threaten the United States proper, nor the US's allies or interests. The ONLY nation on earth that has the capability to deploy military capability worldwide is the United States--no other nation comes remotely close. Russia (theoretically the second greatest military) can't even subdue a much inferior nation (in terms of population, economy and military capability), i.e., Ukraine, ON IT'S BORDERS! China has ZERO capability to move it's military anywhere beyond it's borders. The United States is not interested in messing with any other country as there's no reason to--but, make no mistake, ALL other nations know they cannot take on the United States militarily ("hypersonic" missiles or not) as they're well aware it would be national suicide.
