Yes, because somehow an extra bullet that one forgot about could be in it - that or in one of those fantasy/sci-fi settings, a wizard's magic or some sort of futuristic tech reloaded it automatically. As it is, a co-worker died when they were "cleaning their gun" because they "forgot" to take a bullet out of the chamber...... personally, other than the apparent location of the injury (allegedly, according to the story, they shot themselves in the leg), I think it was a fancy way of covering up something else..... but I digress there, as they had other issues (believing that Obama would take everyone's guns, and that a Second Civil War would occur).....

@@strawberrysoulforever8336 yeah that doesn't warrant notice in the eyes of the Court, it's horrific Behavior true but it can't be punished there's no legal standing? unless there was actual abuse at least that's what I want to say back then in the 90s and early 2000s when this happened. This type of Behavior now can be considered emotional abuse and is actually punishable depending on what jurisdiction you're in, America has currently a lot of laws based on this type of emotional abuse and as a forerunner in the world. second being probably other Canada or UK and then I just kinda tapers off being the whole of Europe and then slowly vanishes. That said this woman was a classic narcissist! no amount of parenting classes can fix that type of behavior, only a one-on-one with a license therapist can Rectify this type of behavior and even then it takes years.

@@MrReaperChaz Often emotional abuse isn't taken seriously enough. I think it's because it's a grey area. Physical abuse is easier because it leaves marks. People don't know how to classify mental or emotional bullying in degrees, so it often doesn't get resolved. The world needs to stop ignoring difficult situations like this.

@@strawberrysoulforever8336 I don't disagree the problem is this issue is a none issue to the rest of the world, where here in the states it's what I would call a luxury issue. that where we have a the standards and laws to prosecute people for these issues. Unfortunately this is like the bad police and racism issues, that tone deft entitled people that try to push these "non" issues not realizing we are at the Forefront of these these problems in solving them and Prosecuting them. where in the rest of the world it's a major problem and in a lot of places in the world, you tell some Foreigner that we actually prosecute discrimination and racism they be like "wait really? You can't be serious?" and our cops don't take bribes like they do here and kill people open the street! where people are too afraid to say a word they'd say"I knew America was good but shyt!"

I used to joke with my kids that they dont own anything, it ALL belongs to me... I was raised by a toxic narcissist mother from HELL... After hearing this insane story, I will never make that joke ever again!

Also fun fact that I heard about the entitled Aunt is that she died I think around early 2000’s and Emily didn’t even give her a funeral just cremated her and since the Aunt hated the ocean and despised swimming and couldn’t even be on a beach Emily tossed the ashes out to see no ceremony or anything

@@anna8328 what I’ve read on the OP’s stories about this crazy Aunt, is that she was going to demand OP live with her after her parents passed away and even though that her parents and Oh P made a special deal when he was a team to be emancipated because OP’s parents were dying, the Aunt thought it didn’t matter because I say so and that’s one of the reasons why the Aunt hates OP. But mostly I think the aunt was just one of those types as the child does not have any feelings there an extension of me and by denying the child you are denying me and if the child denies me it is my enemy. But yeah from what I heard that Emily’s father was just a stepfather but she loves Him just like a real father because her birth father split from the crazy Aunt. Just to wrap up yeah I think that Aunt dug her own grave because a lot of family tried to avoid her like the plague and yeah even though it is sad that she didn’t really get recognition when she died in a small way she earned what she did

The story was from about 30 years ago, and I was a teenager in a rural area about that time. And yeah, there was an expectation that I would do things for anyone in the family that needed anything done. I was an "unmarried cousin." Your Uncle Joe needs a house sitter? Call the unmarried cousin. Someone has to walk your sister's dog on the weekends? Call the unmarried cousin. Aunt Josie is getting chemotherapy? Unmarried cousin will move in with her. It was like some unspoken thing that until a girl was married, she was still a child. I didn't care at the time, I was just a kid. But looking back, it was weird.

Now that story with the Mom stealing her daughter's car is the best one I've heard yet. And the fact that the Mom STILL thinks she's right baffles me.

I agree, at least one of those judges (the sentencing judge) DIDN'T know what he was doing. 2 years probation did not give restitution to the victim, adequately punish the perpetrator, keep the perpetrator, or other potential perpetrators from doing similar things in the future, not rehabilitate the perpetrator. It also did not keep the victim safe from the perpetrator. The sentence given to EA FAILED every single metric by which we measure our justice system. She should not have been allowed a plea deal, and felt absolutely zero remorse. Five years in prison, $30,000 in restitution for unpaid wages, a five year no contact order upon release, and I thought the parenting classes thing was cute, so that too.

technically you dont have rights over them at 18... all you can do is stop supporting them and evict them (yes you actually need an eviction notice if the kid doesnt leave willingly)

This is the best stuff I have ever heard. I am so glad someone has taken Reddit and started reading them. I get bored of reading them myself and this way I get to listen to them while I work.

I agree entirely. Recently I was unfortunately let down by a friend of mine when we went shooting. He was a veteran, having served in the army. The dude kept waving the Barrell around in everyone's direction, then left a loaded shotgun in the unloaded pile without the safety on. Just goes to show that political beliefs and even firearms training doesn't work when someone doesn't think about them.

@@Lokithehoski: I'm a veteran as well, plus grew up hunting in Louisiana. 46 now and a few months ago, some younger buddies and I were building a table and they remarked about how I held my index finger and looked around while using the cordless drill. Sometimes gun safety can become reflex, which is a good thing.

The best part about this channel to me is the voices he does for Em and Ek

Knowing how to field strip a weapon is the best thing to know. Basically allows you to disassemble some necessary parts within seconds usually. Some guns can be different however

If I was the judge and she said that to me then I would reply, "ma'am, since you say that you have no law degree, then might I just add that the only person who doesn't know anything about laws is you. I went to school and studied law, so in fact I know the laws and so on that account I do know what I am talking about. The guy in the first story handled that very well I am in the policing program and showed this to my professor(who was in control of a police station) and said he had the perfect reaction to not only the lady but also disassembling the firearm of the lady and his own.

Nothing says entitled parent like “how dare you do the exact thing I was just doing!”

EA: IM IN CHARGE! SHES MY DAUGHTER! Judge: No, your GETTING charged for destroying government property and grand theft of your daughter car.

I don't believe the first story, not for one second. I refused to believe a responsible gun owner would behave the way the OP did. Nor do I believe the lady would have simply backed off without a word after he motions to his pistol. We all know the typical Karen would have been shrieking " He's threatening to shoot me!"

I absolutely love the logic of the Karen in the first story Karen thinking: it didn't fire so I will point it at a stranger and touch the trigger" *looks up* "WHAT ARE YOU DOING" (A little later) "How dare you get me on my knees I only strangled him"

Yes I may be a kid but I do know the gun safety laws of the UK, here they are: 1) treat every firearm like it’s loaded 2) be sure of the target and what is in front and behind it 3) keep your finger OUTside the trigger guard until ready to shoot 4) unload firearms when NOT in use 5) point a firearm at something you intend to shoot 6) DONT run, jump or climb with a loaded firearm (That’s 6/ 10)

The guy in the first story should've went to range safety after the 2nd or 3rd incident and have been prepared to leave if safety didn't solve the situation. Never stay at a range with an unsafe shooter like that. It's not worth your life to stick around.
