Hi there Larry - Its great to hear you're enjoying watching our travel series around Ireland :) We were very lucky with the weather - we seem to be experiencing an unusually sunny January this year ha! take care and next video will be out on sunday :)

I know you hear it all the time but you are such an inspiration. I left the UK for Australia in 2004 and am now married to my Aussie girl with our 14 year old Aussie daughter. Back in 2017 after years of me whinging about continued travelling my wife agreed to set off, no plans, see what happens. We did 3 years around Oz in a camper trailer, home schooling the little one, and are now back in our home of Townsville Queensland but seriously looking at travelling Europe. I feel that I wasted my English upbringing by taking what was on my doorstep for granted. Love all your travel videos, watch out for 'Camper Trailer around Australia goes Nordic' this coming December! Cheers Johnnie, Bernie & Charlie.

I came to Ireland with the plan to stay for a year just after college... it's been 11 years now.. and counting 🥰 came straight to Dingle and honestly everyday, after all those years it still amazes me how beautiful this place is! The constant change of the weather and colours of the landscape is just fantastic, not to mention great people living in and around Dingle 😊 the way you showed Dingle Peninsula is absolutely stunning, so thanks guys 🤗 (YT just showed me your channel and I'm so glad... you just got another subscriber 👋🏻)

Ditto that! The drone footage is wonderful! I’ve really got the bug to get on the ferry for an Irish adventure when the weather warms up. I don’t know if you have ever heard of the Galway band, “The Saw Doctors” . I can recommend the tune “N17” as the perfect accompaniment as you journey around. Looking forward to your next adventure. Hi Joe ! ooh you never know - i do have a piece of my heart here in Ireland - take care yourself and thank you for your kind well wishes!

Dingle was a dying fishing village and then Fungi rolled up. He made the place an overnight tourist hotspot and saved the village...hence the statue! Been out to see him on a boat. Popped up beside us all of a sudden and played the total star, showing off for the bones of an hour. They reckoned a few years ago he was at least, with a conservative estimate, 40 years old. He was first spotted in Dingle in 1983. Funny to think it took a marine mammal to highlight the beauty of the land around him!

There are great walks everywhere down there but in particular a gorgeous lake called Barley lake and walk around it near Glengariff, also around Allihies there are really beautiful walks and a meditation centre nearby called Dzogchen Beara, it should be open. You might not have amazon prime but if you do (or the free trial) there’s a series about lighthouses around the coast of Ireland. It’s so interesting and you’ll pass by some of the areas where they are or where the islands are nearby.

@@LostInTransit great! Enjoy! Another thought is that you might be able to get the cable car over to Dursey Island, I’m not sure how often they run but you might get lucky! It’s a bit of a scary ride but fun ☺️❤️

Great video guys, just recently subscribed and loving it. Ireland is a magnificent country with some spectacular areas well i have to say that as part of my family come from County Wicklow but again a fabulous vid.

Thanks for the video. I imagine it's similar to the Isle Of Man. When I look at the temperatures it always seems warmer than most of UK. I bet it get's monster storms

Hi David! Thank you for watching :) Yes it does seem to be very mild here - I def recommend for winter time - we've had such a nice January here! Yes we have had some pretty bad storms too! We hope to go to the Isle of Man in our van too at some point :)

I feel we have so much to learn from the people who built such sustainable dry stone wall dwellings that have weathered 5000 years of wild Atlantic Irish coastal winds and storms. How can we not be impressed enough to explore this craft that might otherwise soon be lost if we don’t preserve and teach it to todays youth. It looked so much fun wriggling into that subterranean hidey-hole under the stone beehive dwellings. You were brave to go down there in the dark 👍#ThisGirlCan

Well done guys. I have never visited this part of Ireland. This last couple of years have scuppered plans for travel but now things are slowly returning to normal . A visit to this area is definitely on to do list. I am so pleased you appreciate the scenery in Ireland . The nicest place I visited in England was Dorset on the Jurassic coast. It reminds of the south of France . It is a beautiful coastal area also. lulworh cove is a beautiful place . You have seen far more of the wild Atlantic way than myself . I have lived in London on and off for 17 years. But since returning to Ireland and working for a company rather than myself., I barely have time anymore to even walk my dog. But I have a plan to be not working full time. I would love to take time out and do exactly the same as you guys. Just for a few months of freedom. When I was younger I would always spend the summer weekends on the coast .Safe journeys 👍
