I'm a soldier, so one day I was working on weekend, at lunch time, I go out to eat. After eating when I wan't to pay, the cashier said a guy who sat on that table has paid my bill. I don't even know him, but then he said, because he respect me as a soldier and also have to work on the weekend. Malaysian are like that.

Malaysian are quite generous when it comes to treating others, especially if it involves food. I still remember when my friend and I were having lunch at a restaurant near our university, we stumbled upon our senior from same programme having lunch with his parents. He secretly paid for our table (around 8-9 ppl or so). Same goes if I go out with my male friends. They would usually pay for my food (for no reason whatsoever) or order me some food when I don't know what to eat or don't feel like eating.
