@@MAR-gq9wt stressful, usually restaurants which foods are nice the owner ends up being arrogant and snoobish, I ever go to restaurant which fried noodles is out of this world, but the owner is so rude, anyhow put prices and no menu. Coz these people know no matter how rude they are people will still patronise their restaurant coz their foods are nice. For me customer service is a deal breaker, if you treat customers and staffs so bad, I won't come again no matter how nice the foods are.

hey if you see my comment, I would like to be honest, that restaurant really scamming you. please go to the local Patin Tempoyak Restaurant located at Temerloh, Pahang. They sell at very reasonable price with around RM50.00 if you take menu like that. Dont think Malaysia were good at all. Everywhere you both go, you should be aware. Dont trust commercial online ads because of just they say they said they are the best place among all. always ask local people coz they born here.

Must survey price before going. Don’t every comment. You can try only if more than 5 people recommend a place.

I bet the restaurant lady doesn't know how popular I Chang is with huge following among Malaysian/Singaporeans. Otherwise she would give favourable price.

Not only expensive.. If u sum up the 1st bill it was merely RM120.. But after they lost the bill and re-calculated the total goes up to RM157.. This is totally absurd...

It goes with the territory when you treat your staff like dirt, they are not going to assist you in building your business up. As can be gleaned from the video, she treated them with as much respect as you treat a dead dodo.

What a rip off! earlier the owner wrote on a paper, RM120 only...but lichang lost it...recount again..is RM157! Cheated of RM30++ I will never come to this restaurant again! Next few days, eat maggie instant noodle at home, lol.

Even kdai kt kawasan agak elit which is damansara,tp celah2 mutiara dmansara je kot. Better p mkn nasi kukus ilham depan tu. Murah n sdp. Ns n air x sampai rm10

I think she didn't knw that ichang and Jimmy hv their own utube channel and maybe thought it's just for Instagram etc or maybe thought it's due to their visit to Malaysia... Bad move thou, the way she act and speak is like too arrogant and not that pleasant but still.. Ichang and Jimmy said she's a nice person. Lol. I clearly heard ichang and Jimmy ask for patin tempoyak and the owner itself recommended the fried one.. (I thought the owner just serve it and will say "nvm, it's on the house") ...but in conclusion, this is totally rip off. Idk why there's lot of *menu lunch* stated in the receipt. Smh.

She gave you the wild "patin" and not the farmed "patin" that's why it's way more pricier. Wild ones are much tastier than the farmed ones which usually taste like dirt. The best "patin" are those in the "Pahang" river, "Temerloh" to be exact. You didn't get scammed as some of the comments below stated the wild "patin" is extremely expensive in KL especially in that part of the area.

Azzrudin Jamil She should have informed them first (before serving) if they were really wild patin and would cost more which at this point, we can’t even validate that. Nobody, not even a local, what more a foreigner, would expect this kind of pricing from a restaurant like this.

Yes wild patin in KL is indeed pricey but that doesn't justify for the contradicting final bill compared to the first one. I think for this kind of restaurant they should be able to make some kind of display of the dish price rate like money changer one since it's their specialty, because we know that wild patin price is not fixed all year round.

Wild patin is a lot better

fermented durian or tempoyak is my fav, i can eat that alone with rice, just fry it with chillies and anchovies

Hi iChang RM ! All the dishes including the fish tempoyak taste delicious. However, I think the food is a bit overpriced. The fish tempoyak cost RM 50 per piece, WOW ! Maybe next time you would consider trying tempoyak fish in other place which has more reasonable price.

you should try and go to Temerloh Catering at Seksyen 15 or Temerloh Catering at Seksyen 13 . the price is more cheaper compared to other restaurant. the foodies are all yummy, i swear 😊. and you guys should try Nasi Kukus Ilham & Restaurant Mimpi Muor too. ❤️. these 4 restaurant are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ✅

Not surprising at all. Patin price could be up to RM340 per kilogram depends on variety range. From what they have on their table, all I can say is that's quite cheap to be honest.

Selalu kalau ada KZreadr makan kat restaurant, mesti fans KZreadr pun akan support and pergi restaurant tu jugak but this time around, owner restaurant tu sendiri burukkan imej restaurant dia and buat semua nak boycott restaurant dia 😎 I would like to say thanks to ichang and Jimmy because of them, we get to see the true colors of "Ana Patin House" I will never get my feet into that restaurant.

For RM157 for 2 persons is to much expensive. Need to ask the price first before proceed.

i think both iChang and Jimmy knows they have been ripped off when they edit the video. That's why they put up the bill at 13:24 I'm a malaysian and RM157 is the kind of price I pay at a nice restaurant eating high class food like steak etc Jimmy at the end feels the sting like we all malaysian do after paying unexpected high price at the counter... "High class cuisine" What are you paying RM157 for? no aircon, no 5 star waiter, owner yelling so rudely. Price must follow the menu. According to malaysian law, if charged more than what you advertised, it's a punishable offence. If you guys were still here, I would ask you to take your receipt and make a complain

"Its a good experience" Well, u guys have to learn from experiences. That restaurant n the price n the lady who recommended u guys the fishes, really cut your throats! She took advantage of u guys as tourists. Well, as u said Jimmy, "its a good experience" not knowing that u hv been taken advantage of. The pink juice is "air bandung" you can make it yourself.. just use water+ condensed milk+ red color syrup. Done! Or try at other place next time ok.

Patin tempoyak is 1 of my favourite dish. I know the price could difer from other restaurant. Some i heard sell for 25rm per piece. The fish head would go even more. Perhaps in your future video, you guys would consider to ask the price first. But if you guys didnt mind so much about the price, then perhaps the experience must have been worth it.

Totally agree, she is a rude, arrogant, obnoxious being. Can't stand employers who treat their staffs with such contempt.

I just saw this video and it just happened that I went there to eat with my wife and we got so pissed off with the attitude of the lady boss who sat at the counter. My wife just subtlety said the price is quite expensive for the fish we ordered and she has the audacity to say "if you cant afford for the fish why order?" And she smirk at us like we are poor to eat. Why you have to be so rude to us, answer nicely la. I will not recommend anyone to go to this restaurant and the foods and the fish smells so bad like rotten smells. Who the hell always say the foods are nice in that restaurant? I think they create many accounts to give good review on their own page! Pui

Am I the only notice the owner is so rude and bossy..... So sorry to both of you. If you patin in Klang Valley suggest to go to Patin Tempoyak Seksyen 15 Shah Alam or Bandar Baru Bangi
