Yes the noodles was pricey unless they served with gold bar inside 🤪🤪 I had one bowl of beef noodles that cost usd$16 at HCM airport and my little heart is still aching

What I think the price from Msia compare to Japan ramen both are almost the same, ramen from as you can see the price at the machine some is 800yen, 1000yen, other than that is add on extra ingredients. Convert to myr is around rm30++ - rm40++. Maybe expensive at Msia is the gov. tax and service charge then only abit pricey.

Price is almost the same in Japan, it went up to RM100 because of Gyoza and 2 cups of tea (RM5/ea wtf?), look at the breakdown at 7:53. In Japan the tea is usually free, and lunch promo usually have package with Gyoza and fried rice.

ichang started to take seriously about this channel because the opening started that tell viewers to subscribe ,like and share..hahaha

Makes me wanna try this ramen but seems expensive. You can also try Menya Shi Shi Do ramen at Jaya One, Jalan Universiti Petaling Jaya. It's owned by a Japanese. Very yummy too, and pricing is cheaper. During weekday lunch time it comes with free green tea. Take care!

Just finished eating Mie Sedap Mee Goreng Noodle with Japanese Sawi + Spring Onion + Hard Boiled Egg at home probably cost me RM2.50. But eating while watching ichang & Jimmy eating RM100 noodle makes me feel even better 😆

In Australia normally ramen can sell from 14 to maybe 20 something AUD. So if you multiply by 2.8. Let's say 15aud *2.8 = RM42. I think it's about the same in Australia.

Try Tonkatsu by Wa Kitchen in Pavillion KL, it’s cheap and if you order the rice set you can unlimited refill of rice, miso soup and vegetables ! Must try their udon and Chicken set!

wongcalvin73 if you like Tonkatsu by Wa Kitchen, then you should try the original Tonkatsu from Japan which i feel nicer... located at Publika Mont Kiara, 163 Mont Kiara, One utama isetan & Main Place USJ. After googled, the pavilion one is created by Malaysian.

Price are actually quite normal , most ramen places in KL is around RM30 a bowl, which is about 1k Yen. I had lots of ramen in Sapporo around 900 to 1.2k yen depending on the toppings. Don't compare to our street food hahahaha.

Jimmy and ichang are slowly to become Malaysians 🤭🤭

You should take a ride down to Klang and try the legendary Bak Kut Teh here. Guaranteed the best soup based food you'll ever taste. Klang is 35-45 mins away from KL without the jam.

Theres a reason we dont really eat ramen here, too many other noodle choices! Spicy chilly pan mee/wanton mee/pork noodles/beef noodles/laksa/curry mee/soto/hokkien mee/prawn noodles just to name a few on my wishlist(diet for photoshoot now😥), cant wait for my cheat day to go eat noww 🤣

When looking for a shop in malls, it's easier to find if you follow the shop number. The numbers can be found in the mall's website directory and on the information directory board in malls. When you have the number, just look it up as you walk in the mall. The numbers are usually at the bottom corner of the shop signage. As the number gets closer to the shop number means you're getting closer.

Yummy!!! I had them one time there , yes a bit pricey but it was worth it and a bit settle on the price and the next thing i did was research the recipe and bought the ingredients. To be honest it is not tricky to make it as long as you know where to get the ingredients. I really want to watch and learned from ichang cooking ramen, give us tips and tricks on cooking ramen because it cost too much by eating outside. Hahahah just an idea and please dont take it too serious, i don't want to burden ichang...

well for comparison , a basic no-frill beef ramen from Sushi King is around rm16-19 So yea , those ramen are a bit on expensive side. but it look 1000% better then basic ones. I bet it tasted better too.

Another good ramen restaurant is Menya Miyabi Hokkaido Ramen, they opened one in Hokkaido and now it's here in Malaysia! Ground Floor, Green Zone, Sunway Clio Hotel, Jalan PJS 11/15, Bandar Sunway, 47500 Petaling Jaya, Selangor Owh! A very famous Yakitori place is Sumika! It's the best Yakitori, must make reservations. No.19, 1st floor, Jalan SS15/4, Subang Jaya, Subang Jaya

Ichang, Jimmy try go to J'S Gate Dining Lot 10 level 4 food court there's a lot japanese food court there, and the price is more cheaper☺️

Jimmy is just like me and my family. We would go eat at Yoshinoya or sometimes Carl's Jr. or at the Food Court or other eateries at Mid Valley which all these are situated at same floor as Bankara Ramen (3rd floor). And then after eating, we'd stop by a bakery.. except that for me and my family we'd go to Komugi or Aeon's La Boheme bakery. We'd buy some bread and pastries for next morning's breakfast.

U can come to Rising Ramen Penang at Pulau Tikus in Malaysia,the taste of the ramen is fantastic and memorable!!!

Ichang & Jimmy if you want to try budget japanese Ramen can go Ichikakuya (横浜家系ラーメン 壱角家) at UOA business park. Pretty authentic and similar to the one I had in tokyo. For a standard bowl of ramen will just be around RM20.

How does it compare to Seirock-ya in Uptown Damansara?

Please try Ramen Seirock-ya in Damansara Uptown next time. Only RM 20+ per bowl and really delicious and thick broth. Very satisfying. Japanese chef too.
