It is ironic that Quincy Jones did not produce ANYTHING for or with Whitney?!? Imagine how great Quincy's production would have sounded with Whitney's instrument? Oh and what about a duet between Michael and Whitney, who arguably were the most talented performers of our generation. Opportunities missed!

Michael turned down a duet with Whitney called 'If I Told You That'. She was hurt by that but recorded it solo and killed it! She made a remix with George Michael.

Well I to wish he had work with houston, I much prefer him over Clive Davis. Quince Jones is a musician and artist himself, thats what whitney needed in her corner. Whitney was supposed to duet with Mike on his no.1 single "I just can't stop loving you", but her schedule was to busy :( so they got someone else instead. But originally Mike requested Whitney Houston

michael jackson's duet on the bad album - i just can't stop loving you , was ment to be a duet with miss whitney butt her record compnay thought she was over exposed already so she did not make the duet .

And also, If I Told You That duet from My love is your love 1998 was supposed be with Michael Jackson, but he declined so they took George michael instead

He also passed over signing her to his record label in the early 80s when Valerie Simpson tried to convince him to sign her. He said he already had a female artist “Patti Austin”. So he declined Whitney twice. I even heard that he didn’t believe her voice was anything special.
