Aktane, thank you! I have been trying to figure this game out and you're the only one who explained a) Arrange Mode is easier to get into than Arcade and b) the mechanics in a concise, easy to understand way. Thanks for being so helpful to the community!

Haha have fun, the arrange is a silly thing you'll clear quickly at your skill, but the main game is a solid "oof" level of difficulty. It's pretty wild. There's a lotta mechanics so definitely watch a chinop video to get familiar with some routing 😁

Saw the game pop-up on LRG's Twitter. Was curious about what the Gameplay looked like. Cover Art gave me JRPG vibes, but after watching this, reminded me so much of Ikaruga. Thanks for showing! Definitely interested in picking it up now.

Very cool hope you enjoy it... but keep in mind this is specifically the Arrange mode! there is also Arcade mode, Black Label , Novice Modes, and then Omake :) ...the Arcade mode doesnt function like this, like ikaruga haha :)

I'm tryna keep these extremely short and sweet 🍬🍭

I LOVE arrange mode conceptually, but swapping to the secondary shot takes longer than the regular shot and breaks the flow of the mode for me. I have to anticipate the red bullets more knowing that there is a longer delay to switch to the beam.

That is correct!! And yeah in general I don't like how in cave games the focus takes time, it feels sloshy to me... I prefer like cosmodreamer or gunvein for example where it is INSTANT..That's why I stay on beam and let go for rapid hahaha 🤣 vs the opposite

Very helpful. Any plans to do one on the scoring for black label?

@@Misanola mk so I understand how black label generally works but I don't have any deep scoring strats or anything :( I'm mostly a survival player 🤣 not sure if that would be helpful for you. like I get the chain meter, and canceling bullets and some of the zesshikai invincibility stuff but I'm not sure how to optimize all of it or anything... I'm bad at Shmup math 😂

@@Misanola okay my understanding is that the bottom right white meter is the zesshikai invincibility bar. Once you're in zesshikai you are invincible until that bar drains down, when you're in other modes I think it just slows bullets that are about to hit you.

man i wish they port ESPGaluda 2 for PC. im jealous switch keep getting Cave tittle

I've still yet to play the first one, but it's on my list. Gotta finish up a couple other things first. I'm not really good enough to play 2-arcade casually, I'd have to route it so that'll be much later

That's cave for ya! Games get complicated! Try something simpler instead, maybe a Compile or Psikyo game... I didn't even cover all the mechanics of Espgaluda2 Arrange 🤣 just barely scratched the surface. But this is all I needed to clear this mode.
