Luv my KLR. Got a box like that, drilled xtra holes in the rack for more attachment points. I put the tool kit in the big box for convenience. I have 23,000 all hwy miles on my '22 Adventure model. Plenty of bike for me. My bike sports a Seat Concepts Commuter Low touring seat. Recently did a single day 551 mile ride, this seat made a difference. Thank u, good job with the vid!

find the other two holes, and drill them into the bottom of the box, add the other 2 bolts. (Looks like you're up the road from me, I'm southeast of Disney)

I test drove a very low mile 2024 KLR 650 today. I was very disappointed with the power and lack of pull under acceleration. I wasn't expecting a power house but thought it should have much more pull. I have a 900 Vulcan and 1700 Voyager. They both pull much more and are much heavier. Guess it's not for me. Going to try a 650 LT Next. Good luck!

Yeah that's one of the reasons why there's so many on the used market. People assume there's a ton of power and speed.

That truck looks good but you are going to need more than two screws to go the distance, especially if you get into some ruff terrain. Even if you have to drill some new holes I would get two more bolts in there. You could also just skip the mounting plate and bolt the box directly to the rack. That’s what I ended up doing on my DR 650.

Yeah it's on there alright for just around town riding. I agree though, I may actually shop around for a 2nd top case, I kinda want something bigger. Seems kinda small the more I look at it haha

I've been thinking about buying a KLR but just haven't been able to talk myself into it yet. How is the Bike as far as Vibrations? I want to be able to enjoy the ride :-)

So on the highway, it's the "wildest ride in the wilderness!". I've been wearing padded cycling shorts under my pants lol. Swapping out the stock tires is recommended too. I think once I get better tires and a new seat, it'll help with the discomfort. But with padded shorts, it's a world of difference for long rides.

@@OurMagicalJourneyFL What seat will you get? I watched another reviewer of the gen 3 KRL650 in Australia who said the seat is one of his favourite things about the bike. He said it's squishy and super comfortable for long rides.

I’ve been debating on the klr or a triumph tiger 850-900 i really love the tiger but the looks and stuff of the klr is great as well with a price difference of half as munch. I’m just wanting cruse for long rides as I’ll be basically on the road 90% of the time

I think having that 6th gear and a more road style bike would be better. Then again I'm finding highway riding decent on the KLR. But I've never riden one of those, so can't really compare
