If Man City or Liverpool had spent nearly £1 billion since they won the champions league and in the following 2 seasons were struggling to finish top 10 would they be getting any sympathies or ‘it takes time’? • @samc5588

It depends on what they spent 1 billion on. Common sense means spending a billion on youngsters and inexperienced players will take time to show results or could fail. Totally Agree with Danny And Simon, Man UTD Has a Team Assembled with players playing in the league for more than 4-5 seasons... There players aren't like Chelsea's Squad.. Some of These Players are now kicking a Ball Jackson Had 60sumthin odd games in his Career The CB pairing spent 1 Full season at Monaco we also have Plenty players out.. So the Score line looks Embarrassing But the reality is Arsenal are Far Better team than Chelsea is At this moment after Spending 3-4 proper Seasons under Aretta getting these types of mistakes out of their systems. Arsenal Suffered massive defects as well in their first 2 seasons.. these Aren't excuse but they are Facts and there are more Facts not mentioned.. we Had a Good Squad With Majority of our Key Players or Better Players Missing.. so this season the new Players Get a Full season as a preseason to make Mistakes understand the League and get errors out their System and Build Character.

Lol what’s Danny waffling about. I’m not a Utd fan, but there clearly is an agenda against Ten Haag over Poch, the English media love Poch for some reason. Chelsea have spent more than Utd during ETH’s tenure at Utd which is only a season longer, and to be fair he’s got to 3 finals and won 1 with a potential (albeit unlikely) to win another. And ETH would have finished higher than Chelsea in both seasons as well. Although this isn’t anywhere Utd should be and a team of their size should be challenging for the league, however if we’re talking about a comparison between ETH and Poch and also Utd and Chelsea then Utd and ETH have done better, it’s a fact!

Whilst Chelsea hadn’t lost for 6 or 7 games, Murphy is completely ignoring a 2-2 draw to 10 man Burnley and a 2-2 against Sheffield…. It’s not been good enough and there’s been so many mistakes made by Poch. Weird how the media hasn’t hammered Poch compared to other coaches under performing because of circumstance but a lot higher up in the league table 👀

So much excuses from Murphy. Age excuse is funny when both Badiashile+Disasi are experiences internationals who both have chemistry having been CB partners at Monaco, both cost 70m+, which more then Saliba+Gabriel (49m). Both same age as Saliba+Gabriel. Cucurella is Ben White age. Excuse about Caicedo+Enzo being young. Odegaard+Havertz are not far off in age, they were never too young to be criticised or judged. Odegaard was a 15 year old wonderkid, who by age 20 was seen as a flop after good loan spells but failing to make it at Real Madrid. Him not being able to displace Modric + Kroos who were ageing gracefully. Odegaard was 3 years younger then Caicedo at the time, 2 years younger then Caicedo, this is while he was a far bigger talent then both. Kai Havertz was 17 year old wonderkid, big 70m Chelsea move at 20, seen as a flop at age 22. Labelled a flop when he was Caicedo current age. Remember Enzo was starting at World Cup, helped Benfica win the league title+ make UCL KO stage. Caicedo last season was even younger+inexperienced when he was a starter in PL at Brighton next to another young World Cup winning midfielder in Macallister, both balling + making europe. Caicedo showed consistency then, no talk on his age. Hes older + more experienced now. Havertz, Odegaard, Rice, Saka, Saliba, Tomiyasu are 24 & under for Arsenal. Remember Chelsea were the ones who deemed Havertz not good enough. Chelsea were the ones who chose to hijack Arsenal for Mudryk, splashing 100m. Trossard who scored was Arsenal Mudryk plan B who was linked to Chelsea. Poch+Chelsea intentionally didnt start an experienced Sterling. But here is Danny Murphy giving Chelsea hypothetical victories & spinning any positives Chelsea way in cup losses v Liverpool+City is embarrasing. Nobody was doing that for Arsenal when they were 8th and couldn't spend much and losing games despite 'chances'. Murphy somehow gave Chelsea credit for half chances during a 5-0 beatdown v Arsenal. Arsenal should have been 3 or 4-0 up that first half, but he somehow says Chelsea were comeptirive + had chances when they escapes to half time at 1-0. Arsenal had 13 shots in first half, the most ever in 1st half v Chelsea in PL. Chelsea somehow avoided first half 4-0 battering that Murphy ignores, only scoring 1. Arsenal should have scored 10. Arsebal had 27 shots, 10 on target v Chelsea. Chelsea had 7 shots, 1 shot on target, which was a tame effort from a Sterling freekick at the end of the game.
