Quick and Easy Chicken Breast Dinner! Chicken breasts 2 pcs
Cut the chicken breasts into bite size pieces
cut potatoes 3-4 pcs into slices
Drizzle the baking dish with olive oil
Salt 1 tsp
Ground black pepper 1/2 tsp
Paprika 1 tsp
4 Eggs
Plain yogurt 5 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Ground black pepper 1/2 tsp
Paprika 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Provencal herbs 1 tsp
Mix to combine.
Grated cheese 1/2 cup (3.5 oz/100g)
cut two tomatos into rings
cut two onions into rings
Bake 360°F, 180°C 30 minutes
Top with the rest of the cheese 1/2 cup
Bake 360°F, 180°C 15 minutes

My mother recently passed away about 7 months ago, she used to make this exact dish but with pork chops. It is the only dish I would ever eat that included pork chop; I miss her but your videos gives me more hope to enjoy her food once again

Looks like a nice recipe, but very dry, and no garlic or butter? It would need lots more seasoning for me. Good idea that we could make our own. I would use Italian seasoning (provencal substitute) and one egg only. More paprika, garlic, butter and ditch the Turmeric. Oh, and add some milk to moisten it. ❤️😊
I did precook the potatoes to fork tender first, using gold potatoes, which already have a shorter cook time than regular russets. Added some finely chopped sweet peppers for color. Cut eggs to two, added 1 cup of canned evaporated milk instead of yogurt, plus I added 3/4 teaspoon of oregano to the seasonings. Love cheese but cut that amount in half also. Can't find good ripe tomatoes at my local grocery for a few weeks now, so I substituted organic diced canned tomatoes. Turned out great, moist, tender and delicious. Yes, I changed it up a bit, but the end result is what matters, right? I will make again, for sure. Next time, I think I'll add some broccoli for more flavor.

I’m just hoping to sa ve this comment. I’m thinking this looks so good. Then read the recipes. Potatoes in a casserole done in 15 minutes. Baloney!
Pre-cooked the potatoes for 10 min to avoid being raw. Made this and the result is a dry mass, not tasty. No good texture, needs more moisture, The egg is solidified which makes it dry. Sorry, I won't make this again.

So far so good, it took me about 20mins to prepare it and now waiting on the final 15 mins, oh and I add also some organic butter on top to make it more moist but so far it smelling and looking good, can’t wait to eat it! And will update you on how is tastes. 😇 Update: the dish was delicious!!! I adjusted the time to 35 mins then add more cheese and put small pieces of organic butter on the slices of tomatoes and put it back on the oven for another 25 mins to make sure the potatoes be were soft and it worked! Prepared this for dinner today. Family loved it. My potatoes were not as soft though so I'll probably pre-cook them next time. But regards, its an amazing and simple meal ❤❤❤❤

I would think the potatoes would have to be precooked for this to work. Looks like it would have great flavor.
Looks interesting, but withMUCH more seasoning and I’m not sure if the potatoes and chicken have a close enough cook time to cook together like this.

Definitely not the chicken. You can still see it's pretty raw when she lifts it out of the pan. But still looks like something I'd try, just need to add a few steps.

Pre-cook the spuds. And maybe make it a bit more colorful by adding something green like broccoli florets or asparagus spears.

I love the method of this recipe, but I definitely added more seasonings to the chicken. I also added a 1/3 can of tomatoes instead of fresh tomatoes. Cooked it for almost an hour. (A tray of chicken breasts) Turned out really nice. Thank you 👍🏽😊

Simple yes compared to some dishes. I cooked a dish yesterday that took me 3 hours of kitchen time. Loved every minute.
The idea is good but rather than the eggy mixture, a cheese sauce would make the dish less dry. I would cook it longer too to avoid hard potatoes. Make it more of a casserole.
Read comments saying it was dry & bland so I added some broth and more seasoning/some butter … wasn’t dry or bland but the egg basically turn to chunks of scrambled eggs it’s weird. Skip the filing and use a can of cream of chicken or something 🤷🏻♀️

How would it stay together without the eggs? It would be basically soup if you do it your way. Although, I did it her way, and it was still a bit liquidy.

I think 45 minutes total cook time, is plenty of time to get the chicken & potatoes done! The chicken looks done to me, & I think it looks amazing also. If I would say anything negative, maybe it looks like it could be a little dry? 🤷♀️ I'm saving it, & trying it; thank you for your recipe!

Was good except the potatoes needed something extra. And cook time needed to be a little longer. We bumped baking temp up to 400 degrees F and they still did not cook all the way. I think next time I will add a can of cream of chicken soup to soak into the potatoes and use as a gravy for the rest of the dish. I used cheddar cheese, mozerella, and cream cheese as well. I did not use regular onions and added several extra seasonings and topped with green onions. No tomatoes as hubby don’t like them. Lol Biggest concern was the tators! Just a heads up for others you will need to Adjust temp/cook time to fully cook them.

After watching this video and reading comments from people, I made it today with quality ingredients and organic chicken breast. I am so disappointed that I wasted money and time making this chicken breast dish. Never again I will be making this. More than half the tray is remaining and I am exploring to see how I can make it flavorful so I won’t be wasting it. Oh by the way I am used to spicy and flavorful food.
I think temp needs to be higher. I tried it and potatoes were still raw

I’d cook the onions first as the cooking time plus the tomato acid won’t cook them to any tenderness. I’d probably use shallots instead.

There's a spice/seasoning called "herbes de provence". It's a blend of different spices. I'm guessing that's what they meant? Not sure about the cheese, though! Lol!

I have this in the oven and trying it out for the first time. I wonder how many calories per serving. I will update with my results. UPDATE: Delicious thanks for the recipe! I made some modifications. Used milk instead of yogurt, used half grated parm cheese and Mozzarella for the first bake round and for the last round in the oven cheese sprinkled on top. Skipped the Tumeric and used dash seasoning plus paprika, salt and pepper. Baked at 380 degrees first 30 minutes and 20 minutes for the last half and added cheese on top. I also entered my portion into a calorie counter app ingredient by ingredient to get an average of 500/serving.

Try a can of cream of mushroom soup 1 can of milk add more salt and pepper cook at 350 for 1 hour till done

I don’t know how you cook potato’s and 350 for 45 minutes. I had to put them on 400 and cook them for another 30 minutes.

I agree. I changed mine up a little. I just bumped up the herbs de province to 2 tsp and then also added some garlic and onion powder and more paprika and it turned out flavorful. OF course I've been cooking a while, so I can tell when people skimp on the seasoning.
This was kind of disgusting. The idea of the chicken and potatoes were good, but the egg sauce was really strange when cooked. The consistency was odd and the turmeric gave it a very distinct taste (not in a good way.) Just use a jar of Alfredo sauce or make your own and it would taste way better. My family of 5 didn’t like it at all.

You can use sour cream if you dont have any yogurt. Worked just fine.
Love some of your recipes... But.... I don't care to watch videos that show the slicing, dicing, and cutting of the whole bunch of each one of these ingredients. I think showing a couple of the slice and dice methods would be better. It's kind of like watching a cupcake recipe video, that shows someone filling each cup, in 10 tins in slow motion 🦋

It's amazing how many people complain about this dish. Perhaps all of you should do a video and show us how to make the "PERFECT CHICKEN BREAST DINNER" then, we can critique it and say " this or that" or, " maybe you should do this or that". Like really people? You all act like you HAVE TO do it her way or else it's going to suck. add or don't add spices. maybe use dark meat instead or maybe use pork or just vegi's. My family found this nearly inedible. Bland and a weird mix of flavors. It didn't set right, either. It was very liquidy. I think my potatoes gave up more liquid than these
