Everyone in this band is phenomenal. All play their instruments great! Geoffs voice is second to none! Their harmony is awesome. My favorite band ever!

Tate's voice is so real and pure. No fancy machines to make him sound so awesome, it is his voice that is so powerful.

I was obsessed with them back in the day but I had no idea they were such great live performers.

These guys were just so damn good. Incredible live experience.

One of the best, if not THE best, concept albums of all time. My gosh this story would make such an awesome movie if it were done right....

the ONLY band i know of that sounds the EXACT same live as they do on record. geoff knows how to sing so fuckin well. flawless.

well to be honest, there are instances where Geoff will sing a part slightly different than he did on the album. So I wouldn't say it sounds exactly the same, but I agree they do get closer than any other band I've seen/heard

I saw them when they were touring with Metallica. I was simply amazed how Geoff sang exactly same as on the record. He could hit very high notes back then.

This is heavily cleaned up but I will say this, the earlier shows did not have the bass presence from the gear that this era carried. It was a HUGE difference because you could feel it. They were very good live and Tate. just wow back then.

Todd La Torre cannot sing these songs. Anyone who says he can knows absolutely nothing about singing and clearly have a hearing problem. Geoff is just something else and so under appreciated by the main stream it’s criminal

Unbelieveable how queensryche looks in live show. This concret brings like i listen them in my house on stereo device. Great band and great musicians.

Such kick ass tunes, but also openly and rawly emotional. Wanna headbang and cry at the same time.

Scott Rockenfield was definitely far too underrated as Queensrÿche's drummer. Great sound, and so unique. No one else played or sounded like Scott. Miss his drumming, that's for sure.

how someone with a name like Rockenfield could be underrated has always amazed me does anybody believed in love? well i fukn don't.

The album after Mindcrime was Empire, the tour I saw. In the middle of the concert they began the Mindcrime album, and from the first 5 seconds you just knew there's no way to play that beginning without finishing the whole album, and they did. Everyone lost their shit knowing that, and all lighters came aflame. Fantastic stuff, I'm here to tell ya.

When they toured for empire, they played operation from start to finish. It was as mind blowing as it was unexpected. I thought I died and went to different realms of the universe.

I so so loved this concert, was blown away!!

This has to be one of the most amazing live performances I've ever heard. I'm a huge fan of the band RUSH and, this is almost equal to their live sound. THAT SAYS A LOT!!!

I was there, and they were badass. Tate was in his prime as far as vocals goes. Queensryche nowadays sounds good with Todd La Torre and he does a great job at it,but Geoff Tate was the shit and untouchable at that time IMHO.

I've been listening to Queensryche since the 7th grade. I still listen to them today and love the music , so many memories !! This was a mind blowing performance !!! Geoff Tates vocals are beyond amazing !! Phenomenal band !!!!

Saw them open for Metallica in 89 or 90 in support of this album, I was young and a Metallica fan that never paid no attention to Queesryche before then, hands down they blew Metallica off the stage not only in performance but also amazing sound. Still probably the best live band I've seen to this day!

johnny holland no it was before that tour. Monsters was Dokken, Kingdom Come, Metallica, Scorpions and Van Hagar, saw that as well.

This was from a time of perfection in live music. Queensryche was underrated and when whole their writing/performance skills were unmatched. No single piece of featured talent, just a combination of VERY skilled musicians that applied their education and imagination. Miss them badly.

Saw them in Seattle several times and every time it was perfect. I didn't realize it then but now that I'm an old man I realize I was watching the best live shows that I will ever see in my lifetime. I've tried to think of a show that had a better live sound and... I... just... can't.

Talk guitar team this is the best Wilton and degarmo.geoff on vocals rockingham and Jackson with the bottom end.priceless and yes badass.

Wilton/DeGarmo were one of the best lead guitar tag teams of all time. I miss them so much!

I still remember seeing this concert in Nassau coliseum here in New York. Just fantastic. They sounded amazing. Great times..

Saw these guys twice, first time on this tour in Mpls, and they we're better live than their CD, then on the Empire tour in GF ND 1991, and it was just as good. Got to meet them the second time as I was a stage hand, and they we're all the nicest guys on the planet. Their live performances were amazing, as this video shows.

Uh after 35 y still my best band ...only 2 times i saw band live but i remember now

I saw them a few weeks later in Kalamazoo Michigan on this tour. Still top 3 concerts of all time for me and I’ve seen many many shows. In their prime their timing and tightness was unparalleled.

In my top two concert albums.When the original band broke apart it has never been the same.

I was lucky enough to catch them in Portland, Or back around '90 when they toured promoting Empire... and did Mindcrime in its entirety for the final time. LEGENDARY fucking band! Celebrate their catalog to my last breath.

saw the same concert dallas,tx played entire mind crime it kicked ass they had suicidal tendencies open for them and i remember they didn't serve alcohol per band,still good show

I remember seeing Queensryche on their Building Empires Tour... Seattle, New Yeas Eve, Key Arena.. Flew Down and realized it wasn't Operation Mind Crime... I was actually Bummed in a sense but. DIE HARD ! QUEENSRYCHE FAN ! So Queensryche in Concert ! YES ! The Show was incredible , and anyone who saw it and remembers Tate on the Stage Length tread mill up behind the Drum Kit... Geoff would walk in place stage left with a swagger while Singing... as the tempo built up .. he would walk faster and faster until he is in a FULL ON BALLS OUT RUN WHILE SINGING..... STILL IN PLACE.. then the music stops at the same time he stops running , just Bam! Stops running , right into a stance , as he hits and Holds a Beautiful Full Voice High Note Scream ... and the tread mill is Hauling Ass By Now.. so while he's holding this Note.... HE LAUNCHES ACROSS THE BACK OF THE WHOLE STAGE TO STAGE RIGHT... Stops and back into music and him singing while walking in place... ! and on. Then later Geoff is Singing Best I Can , while dribbling a basketball... then start shooting the ball across full stage into a Basketball Hoop... ,Nothing But NET ! .. I shit you not ! He dropped Atleast 20 shots during the song , from all over that stage... Not One Miss.. Sunk Them All Like a Game of Heavy Metal Horse ! Awesome.. Best Basketball Game I've Ever Seen... later on after playing songs from Queensryche, The Warning, Rage For Order and all of Empire... The Lights Go Out and From the Darkness You Hear Geoff Tate, say.. "Seattle Washington ! .... Are You Ready For....OPERATION MINDCRIME ! " THE CROWD GOES WILD ! The Lights Go Up ! and The Veil DROPS ! .... Theres the giant Mind Crime Video Screens and the Evil Nurse... Sweet Dreams.... you Bastard..... BOOM ! FUCKIN INCREDIBLE... THEY PLAYED THE ENTIRE ALBUM.. His Voice was Like Surgical Strikes of Heavy Metal Soul ALL NIGHT LONG ! and then OPERATION MINDCRIME ! OMFG! Sooo much to say... but at the end he Runs up the drum riser and DIVES ! HEAD LONG ! FULL BOAR ! OFF THE BACK OF THE STAGE INTO OBLIVION ! UTTER ! FUCKING MADNESS... ! What a Show.. Chris DeGarmo is still one of my favorite guitarists.

So awesome tate in his prime was the best. What a tight band everyone of them just nailing every note and every hit.

This show will always be the one I go back to when I think of QR. I saw the original Mindcrime tour and it was awesomely raw sounding. This show was like light years ahead of that one like they had the resources to do it like they wanted. I was just in disbelief of how they were able to literally play it so close to the album sound. It had a lot more money in it than the original tour equipment and was flat out amazing

Man I wish they would remaster it on blu ray. But that will never happen.

Ya I agree 100% Standing in Denver screaming REVOLUTION !!! - with about 18000 other folks :) I just KNEW my name and pic were going into an FBI file somewhere :)
