This was a Patreon request and it just so happens to be the 30th anniversary of Freddie's death. Coincidence or fate? Check out my first time reaction to Queen's 'White Queen' from 1975!

Nobody composed, performed, sang like Queen. And Freddie Mercury. And he thought he was an “okay” pianist. This song and so many others disprove that. Just wonderful musicians, all of them. It is so difficult to believe Freddie has been gone 30 years today. 👑 ❤️

Agreed. And this is one of his best onstage performances-But credit where credit is due. Brian wrote this song.
Gone but NEVER, EVER, FORGOTTEN…..Rest easy Freddie, so many love you. 💗 💗
The BBC filmed this and broadcast it live on Christmas Eve. Brian said in the concert DVD commentary that Queen were thrilled because it meant they had finally “made it”, although ironically they were still living as relative paupers and they owed money to their crew and lighting guys. They had recently parted ways with their manager who had been robbing them blind, and joined with John Reid. A Night at the Opera with Bohemian Rhapsody had only been released one month before and was the album that propelled the band into global superstardom. Bo Rhap was a huge risk and if it hadn’t paid off, the band most likely would have had to split up. This song, sung live is my absolute favourite. Freddie and Brian’s instrumentals are otherworldly. Thanks for watching it
My favorite live performance from any band, EVER!! thank you for this reaction. Buckle up and get ready to have your mind blown.
RIP Sweet Freddie one of the most beautiful songs ever💛💛👑👑👑💛
Great reaction. I was fortunate enough to see Queen 4 times in the 70's. Every concert was an incredible experience,
Great reaction. Beautiful song sung by a beautiful man inside and out. Today was a good day to remember Freddie. We love you Freddie
What Queen fans know: The band's BEST material is in their "Deep Cuts" (songs that were never released as singles/were never "hits" on the charts).... such as this one you just reacted to. There's a whole treasure trove that the general public isn't even aware of!
I became a Queen fan in 1974, I love all Queen music, but I absolutely love early Queen, they did what is called metal today, progressive, whimsical, really theatrical. Queen could and did all types of music, and they were not afraid to do so. Queen were innovators in music. Great reaction.
Have only watched/ listened to this song a couple of hundred times…… Not enough … so here I am again 🥰♥️
Thanks, Tea Time - Brian May song -- the interplay between the piano and guitar is indeed extraordinary - oh, and drums... and bass! this is a BAND...
This song was written by Brian May like a page torn out of a Tolkien book! Inspired by love that Brian had for a girl in his Biology class! Sadly, she was not aware & Brian lacked the courage to approach her until it was too late. “The White Queen walks and … The night grows pale … Stars of lovingness in her hair” Awwww man 🧝🏻♀️🍃🌟🍃⭐️🍃 Brian said that later they did become friends! 🌸. MY FAIRY KING 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Love this song. Freddie was amazing on the piano.
A masterpiece! Freddie's voice..Brian's singing guitar..and Freddie unleashed on the piano...unbelievable ❤❤❤❤🎤🎤🎤🎤
I was sitting up in the balcony at this concert

You left out who you were sitting with...lol...sorry just trying to drag more stories out 🥰
Thank you, Freddie insisted that they "film everything". When Brian was interviewed, he said he always saw his guitar as an extension of the story that was being told through the lyrics.
My favorite plus a few other favs ! Life long Queen fan seen them one time in the seventies young Freddie an Queen an wow I was soo impressed an still am impressed an love Queen Forever ♾️👑🌹
Yes! One of my all time favorite Queen performances. Every member was on point and shone! Brian May wrote the song, but like all Queen songs, the others added their 2cents to make it better. Love this more than the “official/album” version. The drums are amazing! Great reaction! The biggest regret is the lack of more cameras to video the rest of the guys! Brian is ripping a magnificent guitar solo & they have the camera on Freddy’s hands 🤦🏼♀️
This hidden gem has been a favorite of mine for a long time The song is hauntingly beautiful and insanely unique not to mention brilliant!
This is actually better than the album version. Great reaction.
You can find much more hidden gems in their cataloge. This performance is so captivating, that most of the reactors are amazed by it. The song structure, Freddie's emotional singing and energetic piano playing, and then Brian with his "singing" guitar, gently drums and bass all these elements together made it so great. They were a band instead of Freddie Mercury and the Queen, their collaboration is still legendary. Have you ever heard the Dragon Attack? Pls, check it out once at Montreal 81.

Yes Dragon Attack 👍
Perfection. Wish I could have gone to this show!
Awe, bittersweet in some ways, but who doesn't love off the beaten path Queen. Stuff like this and Bicycle Race never fails to hit me in a way entirely different from their "big hits" and is why Freddie and the band as a whole was on another level musically. Nice treat to hear this again. It's been a while. 😊
Thank you for this reaction today, no such thing as a coincidence;)
One of my favorites! Thanks!
