Guys don't be so critical please. Eddie is in front of the camera and Theresa is filming. It's not their usual job. I frankly loved the dynamic of this video. It's like being in the kitchen with some friends and joking around.

Theresa comes off as sharp and snappy while Eddie seems a bit uncomfortable.
I was the person who requested the stuffed cabbage rolls. Eddie sorry I put you on the spot. You did a fantastic job. Thanks.

God bless you for doing that I've always loved cabbage rolls until I recently separated from my wife, I ate them all the time, but now I have to cook for myself and I had no idea what to do this woman helped me with her recipe thank you for requesting it!
Paula you are the sweetest most down to earth person ever and a pure joy to watch. God bless you!!!
The best part i like about these videos is that you actually don't feel like you're watching one, it actually feels like you're actually there without a camera. I love how natural it is with all the conversations and being yourselves. Thanks again always Paula, Eddie & Theresa!!.

I'm drinking coffee this morning and watching this and I could eat one of those right now!! Those look absolutely amazing! I am the oldest from a Family of Nine children also, and my Mother was always adding rice, pasta or beans to nearly everything to make it go farther! Thank you Eddie for sharing some of your Family Memories with all of Us and Thank you, Paula for sharing Eddie with Us! God Bless you All!

You can see how much paula adores Eddie, they have a lovely relationship such a wonderful friendship, and Eddie is such a genuine lovely man, a gentle soul and he can cook lol, it was so nice to see him cook with paula lets see more polish dishes from Eddie and paula cooking together . Its a joy to watch you. Love and best wishes to you all. X
We will NEVER get bored of you Miss Paula! Love Teresa and Eddie too! Will miss the old kitchen so very much but looking forward to creating new kitchen memories with you all!! It is so bittersweet!
What? No butter? Lol! Hey Eddie, you live just a county or two away! My son is up in North Conway this weekend with friends! My mom was German and dad Romanian. They used to cook these together and used the Romanian name, Salmali. (Not sure of spelling) OmG, they were heavenly. A bit different from your recipe. Lots of chopped cabbage on the bottom, then layers of cabbage rolls, sauerkraut and tomato sauce. At the top, they would put strips of bacon then cover it with those outside cabbage leaves ( that you put on the bottom) to hold the steam in. I can't even express the nostalgia I feel right now! Every year this was the star of Christmas Eve dinner. Our house was always full. I miss those years. Thank you all soo much. Blue skies to y'all...
Yum! My mom would make them. She was from Germany and we called them Kraut Roladen and had mashed potatoes with them. Eddie is so sweet. Thanks for sharing!
I love watching these two cook and chat together. Great chemistry!
I'm also a grandchild of Polish immigrants. My grandmother made this at least once a month growing up. We liked to take the leftover rolls and fry them in butter and serve them with sourcream often for brakfeast.
Oh gosh that looks so good Eddie and Miss Paula and Teresa...!! My son in law's aunt made this one time and invited me over to eat with her. I loved it !! They are from Buffalo New York. It's so ironic that y'all shared this video today, because the lady that I knew that made this .... her son passed away yesterday. He had cancer and he was only in his 30's . We have a funeral to go to Sunday. I was trying to figure out what kind of food to make and take over to them . This would be perfect. Can't wait to try your recipe. Love y'all....!! ❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing this with us Eddie! My mom used to make this, served over mashed potatoes ❤️

My mother always made mashed potatoes with these…! And when I make the stuffed cabbage rolls,I use orzo instead of rice.
Thank you, I can't wait to try this. I haven't had stuffed cabbage in years.
I love it when Paula says, "duh-licious!"
These look delicious...Its been quite a few years since I made them and I want them NOW!!!!! Thank you Paula and Eddie for sharing.
I haven’t made cabbage rolls since my children was young, that’s a lot of years ago 😂. I am now reminded and I can make it for my husband and I
My Granny made these and everyone was excited! She cooked them on the stove .They were one of our favorite dishes! You can also put all the ingredients in a pot with cut or tear the cabbage and put them in the pot too. It tastes the same, just not as pretty. We called this the lazy man’s cabbage rolls! Great video!

My mom’s take was to fry them in a cast iron skillet. No broth, no tomatoes, etc... she just cooked until the ground beef was done. Usually once the cabbage shell was slightly charred (caramelized).
all 3 of you makes me log on and look forward to the next Quarantine Cooking shows. i miss Aunt Peggy sitting and watching .. where is she?
Love family recipes filled with memories!
Loved it! This reminded me of my polish grandma and my mom who have both passed now. It also was my brother’s favorite (who has passed). Reminded me of happy holidays with them and the we called that dish “pigs in a blanket”, Thank you!

Hi Kari Benton, I find it interesting that y'all call these “pigs in a blanket”. I'm Southern and we call hot dogs or cocktail weiners wrapped in dough pigs in a blanket. There's even a Pillsbury dough commercial on TV with a family making them. Take care stay safe and have a nice day. ☺️ ✌️ ☮️ 🖖 😷 🙉🙈🙊

Galompi is the polish version. And gawonkie is the german version. My great grandmother called them gawonkies and my step great grandfather who was polish called them galompis. Haha He like the tomato sauce version, which is nice...but we all prefer the sauerkraut german version. Kraut cooked down into pork... is the best way to eat them!
Great job, Eddie!! Thank you!! This is one of my favorite dishes.
I really do love this video it was a great change of pace Teresa put her finger in the video made it feel like it was straight up homemade which it actually is what you see is what you get and I just love Paula for being who she is and for doing things her way God bless each and every one of you I hope everyone has a beautiful weekend God bless and stay safe everyone
My husband is Polish and he grew up eating these. His mom passed away and is dearly missed. She would make these for wedding receptions. Love it.

I’ve heard of these, never tasted or made them, but I sure will now! Gonna stop at the grocery store today! Looking great Eddie... and I’m so glad you are fortunate enough to have a mama who LOVESSSS you! My sons are my heart too!
Thoroughly enjoyed this Miss Paula & Eddie!!! Love seeing the camera man in the spot light!!! ALOHA to ya'll from Hawaii!!
Eddie, I’m one of your biggest fans! I live in Bethlehem, New Hampshire. Thank you for taking such good care of one of Americans finest women. She’s a special girl, & you’re a wonderful support to her. Blessings to you both!
This is one of my FAVORITE meals that my Momma used to make before she passed away. Mom didnt cook her rice though before adding to the meat. It would steam in the oven . I always loved the tomatoes on the top... my favorite! Thanks Paula and Eddie for sharing! Brings tears to my eyes. Mike
Love that I get to wake up early and find a new video every day. Thank you Eddie for sharing! I too grew up with stuffed cabbage. My father was German and he grew up with his family making them.
Looks fantastic. Get Mama's recipe for pierogi's Eddie.....I love them. Arthur Ritus has visited me and won't leave so I make the lazy cabbage roll in my electric skillet. All the same things, just cut up the cabbage into pieces. I do miss the rolled version, but lazy mama cabbage rolls are just as good!! Thank you Eddie!!
I have made these. I married an Italian so, the seasoning is different but still delicious!! A great recipe to teach our children & grandchildren.
Freezing the cabbage to soften it is much easier, that is how our family has always done it. Blessings and thank you for your video's, from Saskatchewan Canada

@Lisa P Hi Lisa, we put the whole cabbage head in the freezer, keep it there till froze through. The freezing makes it go limp. Take it out, and core - then the leaves just peal off floppy like they have been cooked. Like in this video, we cut off the thick end that was attached to head for easy rolling and eating. I think it is healthier freezing because boiling removes nutrition. Hope that helped
Its good to see that Eddie isnt camera shy lol, would love to see Theresa making something too!
We take any cabbage left and chop it for the bottom layer. We put sauerkraut between the layers, diced tomatoes, and chunks of kielbasa. Bay leaves. Rings of onion. Cover with the sauce. Cooked for two hours. Served with mash potatoes and chopped raw onion.
I love glampki's or cabbage rolls..coming from a Polish family it was always one of my favorite dishes. I fix them every so often and these also freeze very well for up to 3 months. Since it is usually just my husband and I I just put a small batch in the oven and put the rest, unbaked, in the freezer..Makes me hungry for them have to put ingredients on my grocery list. Thanks Eddie for sharing your moms recipe.
This looks divine! I can't wait to try this. Thank you, Mr. Eddie!
Ms. Paula I love your laughs , it makes my day. I had stuffed cabbage several years ago. I will for sure be making it now. Thanks
We grew up eating stuffed cabbage aka cabbage rolls at my Hungarian grandparents house. We had it for every special occasion. And we made extra to freeze for later. These look so good.
So far, this is the most desirable stuffed cabbage recipe I have looked at----and there's been many! I'm keeping this one! Thank you lots!
My mom married a half Hungarian man and my mom put sourkraut on top too. No sugar and she put raw rice in it and cooked till rice was done. It was delicious. She did use bacon too.
Cabbage rolls in my house growing up were cooked in sauerkraut and it was delicious
Hi ya'll! I enjoy this channel so, so much but never have commented until today I knew I just had to. I am making these tomorrow morning. (well let's just say I better or else.. I have been promising my family all week 😉. Thank You Eddy to you and your Mom for sharing your recipe here. I am from Upstate New York and am Polish too. Yes! we generally make these in the fall & winter. My recipe is 98% true to yours although we love bacon & onions we have never added them. Just wanted to share another name that we call them is "halupki" or "pigs in the blanket". Thanks again Paula, Eddy & Theresa for putting out great recipes & videos you guys make me laugh in the morning watching some of these videos. Take Care!

My grandma used to make these all the time. I love to chop up the ingredients, add some chicken broth and make it into soup. Thanks for bringing back the memories!
My aunt made these with one pound beef, one pound pork, and one pound veal, shredded cabbage left over on top, tomato soup over all. It is magical
So thankful for Paula and thank you for your surprise guest Eddie. Thank you for sharing 🌞
My mom and Dad made these when I was a kid! I loved them!
Dear Paula and Eddie, I’m from NH as well but currently living in Bangkok Thailand. Seeing you and Eddie make the stuffed cabbage rolls brought tears to my eyes. I felt like I was watching my mom and sister making cabbage rolls, nearly the same recipe. With this COVID-19 I wasn’t able to return back to NH this past summer as I normally do. When I’m feeling homesick I sit and watch your shows which makes me feels at home in NH. I was so delighted to see you cooking with NH Eddie. It brought such joy to have you both cooking. Please keep the NH recipes coming it keeps happy with being so far from NH. Thanks very much for your shows, when I’m down and wish to back state side. I turn your shows on. Love to you both and stay safe. Sawadee ka!
So glad to catch this!! I hear his VOICE all the time & always wondered what he looked like! I’ve seen Teresa occasionally❤️🥰 but never EDDIE! This is GREAT 👍 👍 MORE Eddie please ~ 🙌
The first time my mother made these I was not too keen, it didn’t look like a good combination, but once they cooked and they produced a beautiful aroma, my goodness I was hooked!!! She changes it up sometimes with chicken, rice, shrimp and spinach with a little Chinese five spice, it is so good.
Sure have missed your laugh, smile and cooking Paula, SOOO happy I've found you on KZread! 🥰
Paula, If I ever had the choice of being someone's neighbor....I would want to be yours. Your home cooking videos make me feel like I live nextdoor to you. I just love your laugh and zest for life and how you have such an honest cooking show. My family has Hungarian heritage and I grew up rolling hundreds of rolls at my Grandma's big kitchen table. (The memories and talks about life I will forever cherish) She added sauerkraut to her lining the pot and around the rolls. I love seeing the many variations of stuffed cabbage rolls. I've had it at a a friends house and they added raisins to the rolls. It added an unexpected hint of sweetness to the tomato and sauerkraut and cabbage. Thank you Eddie sor sharing your recipe. I'm trying bacon in mine next time I make it.
Eddie is a sweetheart! Love cabbage rolls, great recipe!
I love stuffed cabbage rolls. Thank you Eddie!
Great recipe Eddie, filling looks delicious and will try your mix! I make my family's stuffed cabbage recipe also and have a couple of tips that make the prep easier. Instead of boiling the cabbage, put it in the freezer a couple of days (or weeks) before you need it and put it in the fridge to defrost the day before you are going to make the rolls (or defrost at room temperature a few hours before making rolls). Once defrosted, the cabbage will be the same as if you boiled it. It is is not necessary to pre-cook the rice. You can add it to the meat raw and it cooks perfectly from the heat and moisture inside the roll. I have tried both ways and there is no difference.

Y E S...WOULD LOVE TO SEE MORE!!!! love you two...you were made for each other
Done in a pressure cooker is the best. No waste on your cabbage and soooo tender.. One of my favorite dishes
This is so delicious. My girlfriend has made it for years! It is one of my favorite dishes ever and delicious beyond belief.... nutritious along with savory and saves on the pocket book as well. Most of the items are items we have in our frig/freezer/pantry. It truly is wonderful. I hope everyone gives it a try! Paula, you are just four months younger than I am so we are of the same era ergo your channel is a natural draw to me plus the food ........IS FABULOUS! Love yah gal and thank you for all you do for sharing theses videos and sharing the "good stuff" and the stories.....love the stories as well. God bless, stay safe and enjoy your downsizing ...........we are in the same mode here. took a lifetime to gather what we can enjoy and treasure and now we don't treasure cleaning and tending to it all! HA HA .......life is backwards huh? Next time around I should probably be a minimalist!?? Never happen in my world..........LOL Blessings!!!!

YUMMMY that is how my mom made cabbage rolls except she would combine a can of tomato soup and a can of cream of mushroom soup for the sauce- so good! Rolling up cabbage rolls really brings back memories!
Happy Saturday y'all!!! That looks really tasty. My daughter was just telling me the other day that she had this at my sister's house a long time ago and how good it was.❤️❤️❤️
I love stuffed cabbage and always thought there were some kind of ethereal secrets to making them, but, now I think I might take on the challenge! I know my husband now wants me to make them, and I’m excited to. They look divine. Thank you, Eddie! ⚡️💖⚡️

I grew up eating stuffed cabbage and been making them for about 30 years, their easy and it makes many meals. I use 2 large cabbages, cored boiled just till you can pull off the leaves (tongs and a large stock pot). 50/50 group beef and pork (I've used Italian sausage in a pinch). Rice. Cook meat with 1 or so onions, minced garlic, and spices (allspice, garlic powder, onion powder, that's on you. Strain the meat. Mix with rice and a couple of eggs. Cut the vein out of the coole cabbage. I often use more then one leave, just shape then in a circle (I make monster rolls). Crushed tomatoes, salt, pepper, brown sugar, sour cream. Bake them for an hour or so.
Looks incredible. Love seeing Eddie in the kitchen
Yumm!!! My Mom taught me how to make Cabbage Rolls, but she was all Czechoslovakian, and she made hers with just ground beef, rice, and she would chop up some of the cabbage, onion, green pepper, and garlic in the mixture with tomato sauce, ketchup, and salt and pepper. She would take all of the cabbage leaves off of the cabbage and boil them briefly in the water. So, everybody does things differently, and I modified the recipe by using riced cauliflower to make it Keto, as I am type 2 diabetic and follow low carb diet. But now, I am going to have to try Eddie's version with the ground beef and ground pork and bacon, but I will keep the riced cauliflower in mine. Can't wait to try it!!! Thank you, Eddie, Paula, and Theresa for a new twist on a family favorite!!!
I absolutely love that roaster, absolutely love it. Nice to see Eddie in the kitchen sharing family recipes. That is exactly how I make my cabbage rolls. The brown sugar is the best touch there is, and it's delicious with mashed potatoes. 💯☺️👍😋
I read, freeze cabbage, take out, sit a tad & leaves come off easier. I tried it. It WORKS!

I love seeing Eddies face. I love him! Oh my gosh! He reminds me of my son Jonathan Rhineberger. Kind of shy, left handed, super respectful!

I'm a damn yankee too Eddie. ..Massachusetts.in TN now and as soon as I open my mouth often someone will say I don't sound like I'm from here. Even though I've been in these parts for about 30 yrs. Eddie you have a very "soothing" way.No wonder Miss Paula values you. You too Theresa ! We love cabbage. Anxious to make these !
Looks delicious. I make stuffed cabbage rolls, but picked up some helpful tips👍
Paula, you are the reason I have been able to survive this quarantine!!!! On your next video can you explain the reason behind some of the things you do? Like why does flour have to be sifted? Surely I am not the only one who wonders about these things? Love you, Eddie and Teresa! Keep on cooking.
Cheese in Meat-Golumpkis? That would be barbaric!
Was a joy to watch... my husband will cook cabbage rolls or often referred to as stuffed cabbage rolls! He par cooks the meat mixture with adding some wine and ginger along with some cilantro... he saves the vain and slaws it with carrots and peepers with a wine dressing with mustard seeds for a side bite. Such great memories ... thank you!
My mom makes this as well and she cooks it on top of the stove in a big pot and we eat it with mashed potatoes. Is even better the next day. Yummmmm! Looks delicious! Thanks for sharing!💕
