Tears rolling down my cheek as I watch this video now as I did from years past. I remember this one fondly among so many others I used to watch as a young wife and cook. Wanting to impress my husband. The Christmas shows were especially exciting to watch. I wanted everything perfect like Martha. Lovely show ~ lovely episode w her dear Mother, “Big Martha”.

Every moment we spend with our mothers is precious.
I am from Puerto Rico. My mother made stuffed cabbage like that. I learn cooking from my mother.
I'm lithuanian and my late mother used to make these all my life. Our family enjoyed these. My mom knew how to make everything taste good. 😋😋😋🍽️🍽️🍽️
My mother and I use to watch these old Martha shows together every morning with a cup of coffee and we especially loved when Martha and her mother cooked and baked together. This brings back wonderful memories of my time spent with my mother who passed away 7 years ago. It is wonderful to see the love between Martha and her mother that came through while making cherished old family recipes. Would love to see more. 💕 It’s comfort food for the soul.

Hello 👋 how are you doing today
I always loved it when you had your mom on!!! Still watching your programs, Martha! October 14, 2022
Thanks Martha for showing me to be patient and understanding with your parents. The way you and your mom got along were really wonderful. Love you.
Gosh this makes me want to cry! I used to love watching my grandmother do this recipe. I sure do miss her!
Ah I love how your mum was Involved in this. It was really sweet to watch.
As Mother's Day is fast approaching, I enjoy seeing Martha and her mother working together. It makes me miss my mother so much. Martha is lucky to have videos of her mom. Just being able to hear my mother's voice again, would be a great pleasure. There are so many things to miss about someone you love after they have left this life. But, most of all, you miss just being able to talk to them.

😭😭😭😭😭 Yes, it truly would be a TREASURE to HEAR our MOTHER'S VOICE. 🥰🥰🥰 My mother always had the video camera out documenting Our Lives when we were young children and I also got in trouble many times because I was moving the camera much too fast. Once a month we would watch videos we took in the past and I think we were up to about 50 or 60 reels from 1969 through 1979. I was unfortunately taken away from my mother by my eldest sister and have no idea what happened to those Super 8 tape recordings. I never got a single thing from my childhood not one thing. Had some photos but they were taken out of storage after 25 years and taken to a home I was building and somehow someone put a mortgage on my home and sold it so I never got any of my stuff. Don't have anything I had more than what I accumulated in the last five years.😭😭😭😭
For one thing sure I know how much your MOTHER has disciplined you and I really admire you Martha for showing all that gratitude with all your glorious movements.
Martha, I have always loved your videos, but I must say these cooking shows with your precious Mum are so special. Thank you for sharing them!
Thank you and your beautiful mother 💕
My mother made cabbage rolls for us. It was my father's favourite dish. Seeing this reminds me of her. I miss her and dad both.
Martha, I just love your mother, she is so sweet and charming
How blast you are to have your mom around as long as you have. I am 55 and my mom just passed away 4 weeks ago at 77. I would have loved to still be cooking still with her and just to be able to spend more time as well.

I enjoy how relaxed and at ease you are with your mom. Few mother-daughter relationships are without problems, but whatever the case, it's obvious you two have a good relationship and that you both admire each other's skill in the kitchen. Lovely to see. Thank you.

I’m watching this missing my mom too. She made the most wonderful Golompki. We didn’t put apples or green peppers. But Martha’s look nice. It’s nice to see her with her mom. She listens to her. Big Martha is in charge. It’s funny all daughters listen to their mom’s in the kitchen.
~love -- from a Pole who adores Martha and ....her Mom. Galabkis was the last thing I made for my Mom before she died. Off the cuff in her meager kitchen. They came out wonderful, and we always made them big and lined the pan with the tougher leaves.

Recipes from momma ... priceless!
My mother made the most amazing cabbage rolls. The secret was half a teaspoon of nutmeg to the meat. And the meat was usually ground moose meet and ground pork. So many variations to cabbage rolls. I love them all
I love it. I too am polish. Brings back lots of memories. I shared with my family. I’m making these today. Thanks so much for sharing great job of explaining and easy to follow.
watching this loving video fills my heart with joy as I remember my dear sweet grandmother 💞💞
🙏🌷👏 so delighted that this came up as my second stuffed cabbage video! How absolutely amazing it must be to have your mother next to you cooking your heritage food. My mother always made the best Hungarian stuffed cabbage and to this day it has remained my all-time favorite Hungarian food. Since so many men despise cabbage I haven't made it in quite a number of years but since I've been in the hospital for so long I am going to be selfish and make this stuffed cabbage recipe just for myself! My heart is so overfilled with joy and my eyes are filled with tears wishing that I could have had the opportunity to cook with my mother because she passed away when I was just 29 years of age caught up in that terrible rat race of trying to make a living although I (CORRECTED "didn't") DID IN FACT make every available vacation for my family and my mother. I'm just amazed that you put the apples in there which I have not seen before. Thank you for sharing this beautiful video! 💜
Wonderful demonstration Martha ,daughter and mother did great!!!!
