Hi dear Stephen today I m going to hospital.... But tasigna is not available what I do I'm very afraid.... The disease is not come back.... My fish test is negative.... The doctor suggest me hydroxyurea.... Is this medicine is or not..... Please help what I do...

Sorry to hear about still not being able to get Tasigna. Is there any other drug you can take? Like Gleevec or Sprycel? Hydroxyurea is a drug that will help keep the WBC down, and is usually used when the WBC is very high at the beginning of diagnosis. When I was diagnosed I took it for about 5 days before I started my Tasigna. It brought my WBC down very quickly.
